Front office and lack of talent isn't coaching

Now I'm not giving Kellen Moore a complete pass, I think he's still showing you that he's still a young coach.
But that being said, this is atrocious and needs to be overhauled. We cannot and will not win many games if this occurs
Over the past 3 years, this is what we have to show
2026: 8 draft picks
1st - Jordan Tyson, injured
2nd - Christen Miller, getting benched and not dressing out
3rd - Oscar Delp, work in progress
4th - Jeremiah Wright, not dressing out
4th - Bryce Lance, 50+ snaps a game and running wrong routes
5th - Lorenzo Styles, activated from IR
6th - Barion Brown, glorified returner
7th - TJ Hall, practice squad
- So not even a single meaningful contributor right now...
2025: 9 picks
1st - Kelvin Banks, IR
2nd - Tyler Shough, starting QB
3rd - Vernon Broughton, rotational DT (ill this week)
3rd - Jonas Sanker, starting CB/S
4th - Danny Stutsman, backup LB
4th - Quincy Riley, starting CB
6th - Devin Neal, on another team
7th - Moliki Matavao, IR
7th - Fadil Diggs, PS
- Banks being injured really derailed this, Tyler salvaging it otherwise, but overall at least contributors in some sense (low end starters)
2024: 7 picks
1st - Taliese Fuaga, starting RT
2nd - Kool-Aid McKinstry, starting CB
5th - Spencer Rattler, backup QB
5th - Bub Means, on another team
5th - Jaylan Ford, PS
6th - Khristian Boyd, rotating DT
7th - Josiah Ezirim, waived
- mediocre starters/rotation guys
24 draft picks
6 starters, not a single one a top end in his position.
8 rotational guys
that is a HUGE issue.

keep in mind that he was picked when Kubiak was the OC. Sure, we needed help at the position then, but I feel like this phaggy shotgun up tempo Moore is stuck in is doing him no good.
Kubiak did a lot more under center and play action and bootlegs. Plus, he actually graded higher as a rookie than he is now with a new play caller and line coach.

Brutal.

As long as Fant plays I don't think we'll see him as much. Mostly because the Saints don't really try and run the ball.

he was the consensus pick apparently at #8 by everyone in the war room which is scary given his history of injuries. I mean if you are using a top ten pick on a guy you better be fricking right! Need to see what the kid can do when he makes it on the field, but this experiment has gotten off to a super annoying start,

Saints and Pelicans are the laughing stock of professional sports yet you idiots keep buying in every year. They are printing money and don’t give a frick about the product they put out. Ownership is too busy doing other shite and Loomis is a fricking dope accountant who tripped into a pile of money.

Scouting department is bad with evaluations

from suntiger thread this is absolutely horrific
2021
1st Round pick Payton Turner (complete bust/no longer on team)
9-8
2022
1st Round picks Chris Olave (our top WR) and Trevor Penning (bust/no longer on team)
7-10
2023
1st Round pick Bryan Bresee (DT that can’t play the run. Out for the year)
9-8
2024
1st Round pick Taliese Fuaga (Starting RT that is not very good)
5-12
2025
1st Round pick Kelvin Banks (Starting LT that is adequate)
6-11
2026
1st Round pick Jordyn Tyson (WR that’s never played an NFL down)
1-4
Ruiz and Davenport were the 1st round picks in ‘19 & ‘20. Three top picks aren’t even on the team anymore (Turner, Davenport & Penning), three are injured (Banks, Breese & Tyson), one is bad (Fuaga) and one is terrible (Ruiz).
Only one 1st rounder, Olave, is a contributor.
37-53 overall. Two 9-8 seasons and losing seasons beyond that.
Is anyone in the front office accountable? Is there no fear for anyone’s job? Is there any reason to expect anything different than what we’ve seen the last few years?

Was very disruptive Sunday on his handful of plays. only had one tackle but it was a total domination of his man.

Scary?
You say our war room but the rest of league had him a solid first rounder. Scary part?

yeah, because of his injury history.
and they were like sure no problem!
it's fricking mid-October and we haven't seen this guy run one fricking route not even in a preseason game!
What I meant was it's like they all just agreed so quickly and ignored his medical history.
but what is done is done.

That’s how he was at UGA. Put in solid trench work, didn’t get a lot of stats.

he was rotational player at UGA. Georgia rotates hard on the D-line under Kirby Smart.

Biggest problem has always been the front office . Gayle should have called in Sean Payton and asked him what he wanted to stay . Loomis and Lauschka should go . They have been there too long with no progress made . They dont know how to evaluate draft talent . Kellen Moore and Shough are OK , they are not the problem .

I made the very same post on X. The 2026 draft has yielded ZERO production. We drafted 3 wide receivers and 1 tight end. How is that working out? The 2026 draft may be the worse draft since Mike Ditka traded an entire draft for a weedhead.
