Good catch on Chicago, for some reason I just mentally blocked them out as having a really solid season. But Cincy has not made the playoffs the past 3 years and appear to be trending down. Unless they completely revamp that defense this offseason, which you would assume means not letting Hendrickson walk, I just don't see it. Especially for a guy at the end of his career and apparently looking for a 2-year deal.

$10M signing bonus, and $5M a year gives him a 2 year $20M deal. Plus, it would reduce his 2026 cap hit from $14.3M to $12.6M*.
Put more towards the signing bonus, or higher guaranteed money in 2027 that would be transitioned to a roster bonus could get that number even lower.
*Assuming he signs that deal before the league year starts Wednesday afternoon.

decisions like this suck cause i'm ok with moving on from demario if Sonny Styles is available.... but we must essentially sign a starter without knowing who we can draft to plug n play.

I’d hesitantly agree prior to the combine but I think there is no chance for us to get Styles now

What's going on in GB? I did not expect Gannon to come in and try to flip that defense so fast. Trading away a starting edge guy and potentially letting Quay Walker leave via FA.

Pretty smart. Dolphins are paying his entire salary. They will only have to give him the minimum. He will probably start the beginning of the year with Penix injured.
You can actually get Tua, Geno, or Kyler this year and only have to pay them 1.3.
If we didn’t have Shough, getting Kyler for that amount is a great deal for a team in bad cap shape.

It’s why I keep saying I want Tate or one of the edges at 8. Those are the money positions.
