Teams can hold the retirement paper work until June 1st, and most do so unless there is a bigger benefit to filing right away.

Oweh gets $25 mil per for 6.6 sacks per 17, and Philips gets $30 mil per for 7.6 sacks per 17. This is even worse than the WR market, but not by much.

Probably just us and Carolina then. I’m sure he would prefer Cincy but they’re so fricking cheap.
Hope we land him but wouldn’t be mad if we didn’t because that would signal they’d probably add one in the draft and there’s some really solid inside LBs this class.

Nah. He’s never really been a great blocker. He improved from 2024 and is better than Juwan but not someone to write home about in the blocking department

Dre Greenlaw was just released. He’s just 28. PFF had him ranked as 19th out of 88 LBs in 2025.

Commanders signing Oweh tells me Bailey will be gone and maybe Bain (or they don't like him). WAS may be preparing for Downs/ Styles. And with us targeting Lloyd it tells me WAS may be leaning Styles.
It looks like Downs will fall to us and that's why we aren't worried about Alontae's role.
That's what I've gathered from the current moves. Could be wrong, just my insight.
