Former Saint LeCharles Bentley about to get Paid

The Biggest Loser" needs to drop more than weight ... its new logo is a total rip-off, according to a new lawsuit filed by former NFL lineman LeCharles Bentley.
Earlier this year, the NBC show decided to drop its original tape measure logo for a new stylized "BL." Bentley, a former Pro-Bowler, says 'Loser' screwed up because he trademarked a very similar logo in 2013 for his O-Line Performance company.
Bentley says he sent a cease and desist letter, which was ignored ... so now he's suing NBC Universal and the producers for trademark infringement. He wants the logo changed, and a cut of the revenue 'Loser' made while using the new one.
Luckily for all involved, this will be handled by lawyers -- LeCharles goes 6'2", 300-plus pounds.

Left New Orleans for Cleveland for more money... blew out his knee very badly in either mini-camp or training camp his first or second year with the Browns...was never the same after that.

Not just his first year with the Browns, but the very first play of their first mini camp. He didn't even play a single down for them if I'm not mistaken.

Seems he is looking for a quick paycheck. Seems like more of a nuisance suit just to get paid to go away. The logo is not really that close and they are not in the same market as to create any confusion to a consumer. What a waste of time and money.

The guys was an absolute monster and one of the best in the league. I remembered being angry because he was my favorite player on the Saints at the time he stated he would "rather sit out the season than play with the Saints again". Still hate that he lost his career because of a botched medical procedure.
Can't really blame his comments at the time. 3-13 season, Haslett getting fired, and Joe Horn nailing everybody's wife on top of all the craziness Katrina brought. I would have wanted to leave as well if I weren't from here. Too bad he didn't stick around, he just missed snapping the ball to a recently recovered Drew Brees.

dude has a thriving oline performance enhancement center. He's apparently turned down college and pro coaching jobs to remain at his center.

i would bet hes making some good coin with his OLine camp as well. Good to see because he was one of way too many Browns players that had staph infection issues that killed his career

The Saints had been jerking him around for a contract for a few years. They had no intention of paying him what he was worth. Also, he is from Cleveland. Signing with Cleveland was going home for him.
