I really think Jefferson is the best fit for this offense. He has Lance Moore qualities (hands, route running short area quickness ) but also has the size and speed to make him 1st round worthy.

Lamb and Jeudy will likely be gone. I really like Jefferson and feel he would be a perfect fit for us. However, I think Philly is either picking Jefferson or Ruggs. An argument could be made for either for their offense. Not a big fan of Higgins. Like the Mims kid. He is really good at those back shoulder passes that Brees likes to throw.

I wish we could move up and get Lamb or Jeudy. Would have to prob give up a first next year though similar to Davenport trade but another hoss like that could be worth it. Idk. I'm sure this idea won't be a popular one.

Jefferson all day, long fast enough, has great hands and runs the best routes in the draft.

Brees’ game is all on timing and accuracy which is why I think Justin Jefferson would be the best fit to the offense playing outside with MT13 and Manny Sanders in the slot. Along with Cook over the middle and Kamara coming out of the backfield that’s a very very dangerous offense. That’s not even counting what Taysom an Murray bring to the table.

that WR from wisconsin has excellent hands and is one of the best route runners in the draft...
due to lack of elite speed...no need to select a WR in 1st
fwiw,
that jeff okudah did play/man up tee higgins...

After running a 4.73 at the combine, CB1 Jeff Okudah said the best WR he faced was Wisconsin’s Quintez Cephus—“I don’t care what his 40 time was.” Now at his Pro Day, Cephus turned in a 4.56 Chart with upwards trend

Devin. Duvernay. Steal of this draft.

Now that we have Sanders I wouldn’t mind grabbing Collin Johnson in the third if he is still available. Could play an inline tight end role like we used to have with Graham. Could use him as a mismatch piece and could attack the seems

Really like this guy, he should be there in the 3rd -4th round. Breaks a lot of tackles which we need with Brees arm no longer what it was. Would love the pick if we don’t go wr in the first.

I like chase claypool from Notre Dame if he falls to the 3rd round.

1 but he will be gone. Think he’s better than lamb, but lamb has more consistent hands.
2 Jefferson- yes I’m a homer but he’s a great route runner, great on contested catches and comes back for the ball.
3 tee Higgins- dude is a beast I’ve watched him play several times. He’s legit. Hands, big, makes plays on the ball
4- Ruggs, he’s fast and got consistent hands. Just gotta improve a little as a route runner.
5 Lamb- I like him but I prefer the others better, regardless what the “Experts” say
6 Pittman/Cepheus/Shenault. All good but not as exciting of a pick

Don’t know what y’all see in Higgins. I think he has bust written all over his face.

Our biggest need, imo, is someone to consistently stretch the field (sorry for the split
Infinitive).

Michael Pittman in the 3rd round. Steal.

If I remember correctly, Duvernay sort of had his way with the Tigers

Add Harris to that mix as well. I’m not counting on him to suddenly become a reliable deep threat or anything, but if they could work him on the field and give him a couple versatile touches a game, that’s just another element you have to account for.
