Vaughn Johnson#53 ILB. Jackson, Mills, and Swilling were more well known and household names, but Vaughn Johnson was the HAMMER.

quote:

"I don't know if there was anybody who hit harder," former Saints coach Jim Mora said in 2011 when Johnson went into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. "But he hit with some impact. He combined that size and strength and speed, and when he hit somebody, they felt it."

#23 ... UDFA who was an unselfish, team player. IMO, Pierre Thomas is one of the best RB in NFL history at executing screen passes. PT was money and a great Saint

Willie Roaf and Joe Horn. Great teammates with no drama.

One day you ppl will realize that Joe Horn wasn't involved in that it was Joe Johnson and that is why he was sent to Green Bay.

Rickey Jackson and it’s not close.

He made every defensive player on our team much better.

Pat Swilling in particular benefitted more than anybody else.

Remember in college at Pitt everybody thought Hugh Green was so awesome.
