To all the snowflakes that said they weren’t watching the team this year, have y’all stuck to your lame beliefs?

Why do their beliefs have to be lame? Because they don’t line up with yours Karen?

They meant well. Personally I miss some of them.

Well they believed Drew lost the locker room and we'd never make the playoffs due to lack of leadership.

Funny that we don't see them posting to eat their crow. They've just shuffled off to other boards to whine about the same stuff after taking L after L with the Saints.

For the record, it’s not the beliefs that I find lame. It’s the inability to separate them from sports.

Reminds me of my father in law who refuses to watch Django because he hates Jaime Fox. Your loss dude. Django is a very entertaining movie.

They’ll be back when the Saints start losing to say I told you so. Don’t worry. Don’t antagonize them. This board is great without them.

I have. Honestly I’ve been surprised at how little I miss it.

And I really hate it. I hate that I haven’t been able to enjoy it this year. This was such a big part of my fall routine and I just haven’t done it. But I have so little free time right now and honestly I’m sick of being lectured by rich millionaires during the little bit I do

I don’t begrudge anyone for watching but I think you’re contributing to the nonsense. Honestly Pro Sports has lost a lot of appeal as of recent. I haven’t watched a super bowl in three years. I haven’t watched an inning of baseball since the Astros decided not to play on Jackie Robinson Day. I did not watch a min of NBA this year.

Imagine still thinking about people that said stuff like that. How boring is your life?

I legit don’t care either way. But how is it that you find yourself posting on this board if you don’t watch the games?

Yeah, screw those who stand for their morals. Those people are the worst.

Why are you so worried about if others watch a game or not?

Good for them if they said they wouldn’t watch and haven’t watched. It’s curious the Saints and the NFL have also been very quiet with the BLM propaganda machine lately it seems.

Partly because they spent so much time and energy making sure that we all knew they weren’t watching.

If someone is boycotting the NFL over players involvement in or protests over social issues like police brutality, what moral belief are they standing up for? OMG some has BLM or name of someone that was killed by police, what’s the morals they are standing up for if that offends them?

It was much more than that and you know it. Black players ripped their white quarterback for saying he was going to stand for the damn flag. The players were also openly promoting and encouraging rioting over police involved shootings where not even half the information is as out yet. Good for people who don’t want to watch privileged millionaires who support that type of behavior. It’s also curious how BLM supporters are allowed to harass people at restaurants, gather in front of people’s homes in the night and beat people up for their beliefs but Saints fans aren’t allowed to not watch players or express their dislike for people who support that type of behavior.

Yet you are here worrying about what I say about the OP worrying about boycotting fans saying they dislike BLM players or that they won’t watch...

BLM and kneeling have been going on since 2016. The issue with me was the way Brees teammates reacted publicly to him after the interview. Just imo, those things should have been kept private. For instance, we know out of 53 players on the Saints team several of them are probably jerks, that's with any profession, but if I brought my kids to see the players and they acted like jerks to the kids and I I'd probably lose interest. That's what happened with me, I never boycotted.

I've missed only a handful of games in the last maybe 20 years and all due to work, and once a really bad migraine but still tried to watch some of it, happened iirc even before Brees and Peyton came. I missed the 1st game this year, completely forgot about it, I've never just forgotten about a game. I've tried pretty hard to get excited about it and have watched most of the rest of the season. The feeling is coming back but it was slow. I realize those players are younger than me, and expressing your feelings, even against a co-worker, publicly, to millions are the times we are in though.

I'm glad they are playing good, if not for the Saints I don't even have a need for internet tbh. I don't visit many other websites except TD Saints Talk. I just think Brees deserved better than the public backlash from his teammates, Lattimore retweeting Brees is racist tweets, etc.

ETA: My other websites are gay animal porn
