This due to the fact of multiple team needs but mostly because the 27th Pick is so damn far down the line that no one can be sure who will be available. :(

Exactly. Which is why it's ridiculous to even try. Top 10 is already hard to predict. 16 more is absurd.

I do think Mayfield has a spot in the draft where the Saints will try to get him. If he falls out of the top 10 then the price goes down to move up.

I also think Jackson is a real possibility especially if the Saints can trade down into the top of the second and add another 2nd or 3rd rounder I the process.

I want them to draft the highest person on their board regardless of position. Ireland has come in and shown what he can do. And if they trade up, it’ll be because someone in “their top 10” starts dropping to an area where they can afford to go get them.

Honestly, Jackson is a media pushed move. I don't believe any of the chatter surrounding it.

Can't get another 2nd by trading down a few spots.

If we trade down to 36 we're looking at a late 3rd. If we trade down to 40 it'll be closer to a mid 3rd.

I don’t expect us to trade down, that’s not in our draft day DNA. But, if we trade up, I could see us later packaging a player like Kikaha or Snead (if he stays), or one of our later picks to move back into the second day.

After last year's draft, they can do whatever they think will help this team...I'll be on board!

Whoever it is at 27, if the Saints stay pat, it will be a starter or at least in a rotation IMO.

What is the point of this thread?

Did you seriously think you knew at some point what they were gonna do, and now realizing you have no clue? FYI, the Saints don't even know who will be the first 26 players picked either.

Or is the point of this thread to point out guessing who will be there at 27 is useless to continue guessing? FYI, Speculation and wish-lists drive draft discussion and increase interest.

look there is know way at all the top qbs are all going to be drafted in with top 10 picks . Not everyone will draft a qb. Experts are stupid. Every year a top qb slips into 2nd or third. Sam Donald is the biggest bust in the draft he comes from a school that produce nfl Bust at a Nfl level. Name a guy besides Carlson Palmer that didn't suck from USC after they got drafted. I would love the Saints to draft a pass Rusher or a corner and let the draft play out. I don't want Lamar Jackson he is another Rg Knee. Don't won't Allen he is going to be a Flacco. The three best qbs and I want this team to consider is Mayfield but no need to trade up and maybe the guy from Richmond in the third. The success rate for kids who comes out of small colleges at an have been amazing cause they don't get burn out by the pressure of a big time school. Plus if Rosen is there take him no doubt about it because that kid wants to soak in knowledge and Drew would be a great teacher for that guy.Trust me this draft will be crazy for all teams.

I actually want them to pick a quality offensive or defensive lineman at that spot. I think you can find real quality there and we always seem to need the depth.
