I freaking love it. I think we need this.

The Saints will come out firing. CSP can use this.

Bucs have a young but unproven secondary

By everyone I’m sure you mean a lot of the idiots we have on TV. People always seemed to get caught up in the moment and can only focus on what is happening right now. The bucs have significantly improved but if you take someone who is rational and realistic you’d probably see it close to such...

Brees>Brady
Kamara-Murray>Jones and anyone they find
Saints Oline>Bucs Trash Oline
Thomas>Evans
Godwin>Sanders by slight bit
Cook>Gronk this isn’t Gronk from 3 years ago
Saints Dline > Bucs Dline
Saints Secondary > Bucs secondary
Bucs Linebackers > Saints linebackers.

Again, other than linebackers and their wr corps they don’t match up close to the saints. Oh, and Payton > Arians. Unfortunately these games aren’t played on paper so the saints are gonna have to bring their A game. If they do the Bucs really shouldn’t stand a chance.

I really didn't watch much of brady last year, so I'm not sure how much of an upgrade he'll be. Seems to me that Winston was usually pretty dang good except for about 2-3 throws a game. I don't see brady being as careless with the ball as Winston, but will brady be an upgrade on the other 25-30 throws a game?

When you say “everyone” you mean 3-4 guys on a sports network in an offseason with few sports things to discuss?

TB and Gronk don’t play defense

Fixed it for you. I agree with everything else but I don't see how you can just put down Brady after one not great season in which he had nobody to throw the ball to and he and Belicheck/Patriots were obviously on the outs.
Also Cook did well the last half of the season, but he also got banged up with concussions last year and he's 3 years older than Gronk.

I still give us the edge because I think we win in the trenches on both sides of the ball, but I think these are going to be games decided by about 4 points or less this season

It's an even year, that's what the media does.

Cook had a concussion, missed the rest of the 49ers game and was back the next game. Also played the full 16 the previous 2 seasons

He missed time with an ankle injury. He doesn’t have near the history of Gronk and Gronk’s are reoccurring. His back issues are going to be tough for a 16 game season, and he hasn’t actually played a 16 game regular season since year 2

Cook is far in away better than Gronk at this point. He put up 9 TDS last year and was a force down the stretch.

Yeah If you’re looking at actual #s and what players have done recently. Brees is absolutely > Brady and Cook is slightly > Gronk

Bucs will go 9-7 at best. Coaching was always Brady's secret.

Bucs Trash Oline

It will be interesting to see if the oline sucked because they are trash, or because of Winston. I'm sure it is a combo of the 2, but will be a major key to watch. Especially since the key to defeating any great QB is pressure up the middle

Brees>Brady Maybe. Could be a wash with how hold they both are.
Kamara-Murray>Jones and anyone they find Could go after CEH. Then I think its relatively even.
Saints Oline>Bucs Trash Oline agree
Thomas>Evans Yes. But Evans is a fantastic WR1.
Godwin>Sanders by slight bit Agree. But Sanders could overcome Godwin.
Cook>Gronk this isn’t Gronk from 3 years ago Tend to disagree here. Going to have to wait and see. I'll never count Gronk out.
Saints Dline > Bucs Dline Agree
Saints Secondary > Bucs secondary Agree
Bucs Linebackers > Saints linebackers. Agree

Coaching and the fact that he played in a crappy AFC East division all those years.

Don't get me wrong, Brady is special, but he had help along the way.

Not to mention the Patriots got rid of expensive "over the hill" players and accumulated a lot of comp picks. That was an advantage as well

Each year is different. Gives the talking heads a subject during a time of no sports

Have a feeling someone getting butthurt in Tampa. Not enough footballs to go around.

My prediction. Mike Evans.

Btw OJ Howard can’t be that bad. Go get him saints for a fifth round pick.

Lets see how the 42 y/o QB does in totally new surroundings and scheme...

Let's see how's Brady reacts when he doesn't get the same outcome as he did in NE..
