Penning was looking pretty good in preseason. PFF backs that up.

Olave certainly looks like a stud.

Thinking those are a good trade off for a mystery top 5-10 pick is putting the cart before the horse?

I'm sure all that postseason experience will help them over Brady, Rodgers and Jimmy G

Idk man....there are some stud products coming this year at QB. You aint winning shite in this league without one of those. Not in the modern NFL. But i get it too you just dont know how it will turn out.

We don't know anything about Penning because he's out. He could be absolutely horrible. I'd rather have a top 5 pick in a QB heavy draft than a WR(regardless of talent) and we still could've drafted a LT in the first round and not given up a top 5 pick.

Alternatively. We get a first (or two) for Sean. package those two or another future for that top5-10 franchise QB. And then what if Penning is a stud?

Just saying it's way too early and there's still a 50/50 chance for both scenarios

QBs are way more important in today's league than a LT and a WR. You guys keep thinking we are going to get a ton of stuff for Sean. He has to agree to go to a team. Have you seen the Cowboys this year? They aren't getting rid if their head coach lol. That leaves a few other teams, and all of those teams don't have a QB. Sean isn't going anywhere that doesn't have a young franchise QB. More than likely Sean sits out for 2 more years and goes wherever he wants at that point. The whole Payton thing is a pipe dream at thus point.

The Broncos will have a Top-10 pick especially with Wilson out

And look at the Bengals now. You build around a QB not around a LT.

LOL.

Olave an All-Pro already and Penning projected to be a stalwart, huh?

And neither of those positions matter without a QB.

pump the brakes.

Olave looks to show promise if he can stay healthy.

Penning? who the hell knows. looked good in pre-season? heee heee heeeeee. so did the saints as a whole.

i will tell you what tho. Penning would have been the perfect Payton selection. small school, could be the next diamond in the rough...just what payton likes.

They should have gotten that pick back for Ceedy Deuce.
