Drew was 10 years younger when Payton was suspended but he did throw for 5100+ yards..

..under Carmichael’s offense.

Now, those 5,000 yard days are long gone, but can he be 80-85% of 2012 Drew?

No one knows how much his shoulder issues have improved, but we all saw him working his arse off last spring before he officially retired.

If he does want to return, what could we pay him?

This should make you more encouraged for Jameis than for a washed up Drew

Man y'all need to let Drew go. Winston is going to be just fine leading this offense.

Drew did throw 19 INTs in 2012, so are we getting high TO Jameis?

Due to having (until that point) a historically bad defense under Spagnuolo.

If the defense shines like last year, no.

Another factor will be the run game. If they can't get push to control the clock then it will likely be a rough season.

Jameis is not the ball control and clock manager like Brees was. Even with no running game he and Payton made short passes into a bandaid run play.

He can throw 19 int if he matches that with like 45 TDs.

Also Jameis was more patient last year with a putrid receiving corps for the games he played. He was primed to go smooth off on the Bucs before he got hurt.

Let’s see how he does with MT, Olave, and Jarvis.

You forgot to mention he led league in TDs for 2nd consecutive season at that point with 43 TDs… without a coach… but maybe that does not fit your argument…

Just an FYI, KY Instituted a new promo code for you people that can't get off Brees cock. DB50, 50 percent off to ease the pain of him frickijg you. Unfortunately the code came out after he fricked the saints multiple times

When Jameis tosses more than 33 TDs, it’ll be a first.

He may not be as loose with the football with this defense, but if Kamara is out for a long period in 2022, the offense will mostly go through him.

Drew isn't Brady. We like to think he is, but he isn't. That being said, I'd love it if he came back. I have zero faith in Jameis

I'd kill myself if we signed him and the only route he can throw is a toss to Kamara.
