ISWYDT, but to truly compete with the big dawgs as far as the trolls on this board go; you now need to come up with a half paragraph or so of some paraphrased stats to contribute to whatever the losing side of the argument is at the time in the thread.

I'mma give it a shot!
The problem on this team is the defense, not the offense.
We don't need Drew Brees. We have 5 quality running backs, a pounder in Ivory, workhorses in Ingram and PT and change of pace guys with Sproles and Cadet. We have 3 receivers in Colston, Moore and Graham who can catch the ball no matter who is throwing it to them.
We need to fix the defense, but can't with Brees' contract. If we trade him for some defensive talent like a Patrick Willis and Justin Smith or Tamba Hali and Derrick Johnson or Dumerville and Von Miller, we could have enough money to fix the defense and make this team competitive again.
What did Drew Brees and a shitty defense give us this year? 8 wins at best! We need to play defense and run the ball and have Chase not turn the ball over. Look at the 49ers and Steelers and Ravens. They consistently contend for the title with this formula. Time to move on and help our team, not Drew's pocketbook.
