Meanwhile Green Bay goes Favre to Rodgers to Love. Do we have retards running things here?

Now do new england, and Indianapolis and both NY teams and almost every other organization outside of GB. HOF qbs are hard to acquire

We had opportunities to draft qbs before Drew retired and should have.

Hindsight is still undefeated, really amazing.
Oh did it ever occur to you that maybe Green Bay does a good job developing QBs?

Take up for the incompetent retards if you’d like.

But then we wouldn't have Cesar Ruiz

It doesn't take Hindsight to realize you should draft a 1st round QB more than once in your organizations history
The only rumblings of a 1st round guy we have heard about was Patrick Mahomes
While that draft evaluation was correct, once everyone saw Drew's physical skills start to diminish it should have been near a priority to find the next guy
After Drew retired we shouldn't be 3 full seasons and drafts having still not even tried to find the long term answer via the draft

Jameis was finna cook in ‘21 bro

Jameis Winston should never have even been seriously considered. The Saints are a complete mess.

Shouldn’t have even had Brees, matter of fact we probably only got Carr because we had Brees. No telling who you would have if Brees never failed his physical in Miami

Really impressive considering they were all Packers early on. I know the Packers didn't draft Favre, but it was early enough to get credit for developing him.

That isn't hindsight, that is simply a fact that many here were saying way back. The fact is, even Payton wanted to do that. If the stories bandied about of Sean Payton arrogantly letting it be known the Saints were going to draft Mahomes are true, the Saints knew that and SP's arrogance or stupidity cost the Saints their. future franchise QB

The past two qbs were both drafted in the first round. It would be nice if we drafted qbs in the first round for a change.

Green Bay was absurdly lucky to find Rodgers to replace Favre. We’ll see if Love has staying power, but if he does become another great franchise QB then this has to be one of the unlikeliest strokes of luck ever for the Pack.
An interesting part given most rookie QBs of today, both Rodgers and Love sat on the bench behind the HoF QB for awhile. Is there something to that? Maybe, more likely just good luck

Yes, some luck definitely went GBs way…….. but the Saints have completely botched trying to get a Brees replacement. In fact it appears they haven’t even really tried.

I think maybe the Packers have the right formula for developing quarterbacks.
They use a first round pick to draft a guy with a lot of talent and then they put him on the shelf for a few years to learn behind a great veteran quarterback.
Most teams and fanbases are too impatient for that. They want to throw the rookie QB into the fire and try to get production from him right away, which is stupid.
