complaining over one ridiculous year where he was in a no win situation

What was the no win? His teammates were going to talk their shite either way, if they don't play to their ability because they're are upset because brees hurt their feelings, frick them cut them and move on. Or are you one of those sjws who if your feelings are hurt, complain to someone and get what you want or sue?

Brees just wore the same helmet everyone else did. It wasn’t his idea. Get over it, cuck.
which is why, I think I’d be ok with it in the event he came out and said that he regretted doing it.

Without that you have to take the man at his actions and say that he supported it.

It sucks.

SirWinston is the one executive VP of Cancel Culture, Inc. He claims to be against cancel culture but wants to cancel Drew for essentially trying to win a super bowl by telling his teammates he’s on their side.

SirWinston would have been a bad arse and told the teammates to frick off and felt like a bad arse leading a team that would have gone 0-16.

Sir Winston I hope that history judges you by your whole body of work and not any one mistake that you have made. I would be doomed if I were defined by any one of many wrong decisions I have made in my life. I don't believe there is anyone living or dead that has not received some sort of grace or forgiveness for a mistake that they have made. Unless Brees was purposely trying to harm someone It would be disingenuous of me to not afford him the same grace that is extended to me and that is to not define him by this one mistake. This is just my opinion.

That's beautiful

I love Drew Brees I wore his jersey last week. I just think it's funny to act outraged over the Blake sticker.

Okay, as long as you also hate Demario Davis and the rest of the team, I suppose it’s fair that you hate Brees, who was being strong armed at the time to be woke or he wasn’t going to be able to play his last season and he was going to lose all of the bonds he had built with his teammates over the past 2 decades.

Basically every team in the damn league did this and I don’t think I’ve heard or seen 60 x 32 apologies, so why are we expecting one from Brees who is now afraid to be labeled a racist if he simply breathes the wrong way?

Demario Davis isn't a hypocrite though. He practices exactly what he preaches - Democrats stealing elections through widespread voter fraud disguised as "voting rights laws."

Drew Brees sold himself and his grandfathers out - everybody saw the picture of him beaming with Trump. Everybody knows who Drew is and what his politics are. He pussed out and pretended that he was woke rather than take the honest and more noble path. I forgive him but he totally pussed out.

You people who let politics dictate your lives, are some of the worst human beings in this country. People are getting real sick of all of you. You’re no different than the lunatic liberals whenever Trump was president.

It was a fricking joke.

Sorry you voted from Kamala then.

Who brainwashed me? Drew Brees from listening to what he said and seeing what he did?

Come on man, even if I'm wrong about you supporting Biden, your comments lead to that.

So did Rohan gravy brainwash me about Brees?

The dude made the comments about kneeling, his grandfather, WW2 and then he is kneeling. NBC is a woke media and that's where his next contract was that he got FIRED from.

He just wanted to play his last season and he was accused of being a racist, which he isn’t. His relationships with his black teammates were important to him so he did what he had to do publicly to repair them.

Brees ain’t the guy we should be mad at. We should be mad at the guys like Malcolm Jenkins that took his comments out of context and poured gasoline on the situation.

Honestly he knew he wasn't winning because if all y'all preach the narrative about Brady or the rams, drew should be smart enough to see

Retire with your balls attached. He LET them neuter him

It’s easy for me or you to say that, but put yourself in the same situation where it’s the last year of your career, relationships are on the line, nbc is on the line, your family is getting death threats, etc

Y’all can act hard all y’all want, but it was an unprecedented situation and he had black teammates basically telling him/forcing him what to do. But this situation really isn’t on Brees. It’s on the woke mob culture that was at its peak in the middle of 2020.

I mean really, if we are going to be mad at Brees, we all really should hate Demario Davis, bc he was a catalyst behind a lot of Drew’s actions.

Be consistent. Hate the entire organization and team for the Jacob Blake helmet stickers, not just Brees. The picking and choosing is absurd, as is making every single thread about it over 2 years later.

Some of y’all are really losers. We have a political board. Every topic on Saints Talk doesn’t have to be riddled with recycled Brees hate due to 2020.

I’m about as conservative as they come, but I’m not going to hold any of 2020 and beyond against Drew Brees bc he was operating in an impossible climate/situation.

I agree on one thing, it's the woke mob but I didn't make this s political, I said I don't support him because he sold his morals out for a contract. Y'all are the ones that brought Malcolm Jenkins, demario Davis and black teammates into the conversation.

So try again with the loser comment, I'm not reaching to excuse things. I simply stated my opinion based on a fact by what he said.

If you want to be immature and result to name calling, feel free but

I didn't bring politics into the conversation, I didn't bring black teammates into the conversation. If I'm wrong, please show and I'll admit. If I am it's probably saying something about politics

Anybody remember his ridiculous tweet to trump? It reminded me of an old war telegram from behind enemy lines.

quote:

"To @realdonaldtrump. Through my ongoing conversations with friends, teammates, and leaders in the black community, I realize this is not an issue about the American flag," Brees wrote. "It has never been. We can no longer use the flag to turn people away or distract them from the real issues that face our black communities."

Bwhaha. Then a few days later he comes out and says we(white people of course) are the problem. Then throws away a million dollars trying to buy forgiveness. Dude is a piece of shite.

Thats why instead of spending alot of money supporting the saints, i spend it supporting the ufc. An organization that allows its atheletes to speak their mind and nobody cries like a bitch if someone says something they dont like. And they appreciate our country and appreciate the fans.

This is a dude that loves and appreciates the fans LINK

I’m just saying, if the entire fanbase is going to hate Brees, we should also hate his black teammates as well. Because everything he did, was to cater to them and try to regain their respect and friendship, bc he actually sincerely cared about them. Unlike his teammates, who some of which just publicly ostracized him immediately over a misunderstanding/difference of opinion.

Hate all of them or hate none of them. Or hate Malcolm Jenkins, bc his participation in the entire matter was extremely counterproductive and racist. If we are picking one guy to hate and shite on, it should be Jenkins, not fricking Drew Brees.
