Doesn't that go against the narrative that your boy (Brees) sold his morals for? Lmao

I don't hate Brees, I personally dislike him and don't respect him because as much as he talked team, family, etc... He sold his belief in family out for a contract. You can say "it was because it was his last year" but you and I both have about the same amount of insight too his thoughts. Mine is based off of logic, he was trying to keep that contract with NBC. And technically it wasnt his last year that he knew if, he signed two years.

What about his little rehearsed speech for his sons you can be anything you want ti be if you work for it after he broke the passing record….. then fast forward a year and all of a sudden black people cant do ahit because of evil white people. Dude is a complete fraud. He was a great player but a complete fraud as a person.

Careful man, you know Brees is only the 2nd person to walk on water right? Everything he says and does is to show everyone how wrong they are and he is right.
But if he did everything to "gel" with his black teammates because he wanted to win a Superbowl his last year, then he basically went to his grandfathers grave and walked on it with his Jacob blake cleats

There were many factors in play. NBC might’ve been one. Current social climate was definitely one. Actually wanting to maintain relationships with his teammates was one. His family getting death threats on socials was one. Etc. It was not a cut and dry situation. It was a fluid situation that spiraled out of control bc he was asked a retarded question during a fricking yahoo finance interview. I hold none of it against Brees and it’s not like he’s my favorite player or anything. I just think at his core, he is a good dude, that was put in a horrible spot. It’s fine if people don’t love and fully respect him anymore. But mentioning this bullshite in every single thread instead of all the good he also did in New Orleans for the city and the franchise, is kind of bullshite. I also think people are holding him to an impossible standard that they aren’t holding any other member of the organization to.

Nah, me hating Malcolm Jenkins is due to him being a race baiter that stoked the fire of the situation for no reason after we brought him in as a key free agent. This entire situation would’ve been less severe if Malcolm Jenkins didn’t say “frick Drew Brees” on social media.

We can disagree but what makes what Malcom Jenkins said worse? If your teammate (Jenkins) post that then what makes you(Brees) think some bullshite pandering to them make it OK?

And to offend the rest of the board, I agree with Brees first statement. This country has become a woke culture, if you're white you're wrong apparently. But he didn't have the balls to stand by his statement

Sir Winston I hope that history judges you by your whole body of work and not any one mistake that you have made.

He’s terrible a lot. I’d counter not to judge him by the one not awful thing he might someday do
