Maybe CSP and Loomis sat him down and outlined the difference between one more year to get him that 2nd ring or another big payday.

The conversation may have included a way to keep TH on the roster and Brees for one more year.

It could have been a flow chart conversation with retirement or one more year to get another ring accomplished in a particular way that is cap friendly.

Based on age and injury history you take a first for Hill. He had trouble making it through a college season as a starter. I dont know if his body would hold up with the demand that comes with being a starting qb in the nfl.
