This explains why he black balled Kenny Stills

Shouldn't have responded. Ignore it completely. This encourages more attacks on him and others loons can now get noticed and researched by attacking the famous.

Yeah I've seen several attacks on him by the local media. It's a damn shame that a guy cant make a simple mistake anymore without "hurting" millions of others and have them try to ruin his image.
Fricking sad. 7-9 season inbound

Hopefully Kenny Stills and Aaron will step up and vouch for Brees
Kenny Stills is a far left SJW. Far more likely he throws shade at Drew than defends Drew.

Brees made no mistake here.

Today in the NFL in “Not Sticking to Football,” we have Drew Brees, quarterback of the New Orleans Saints, appearing in a public service announcement on behalf of the evangelical activist group Focus on the Family.
In a short clip posted on Facebook and YouTube, Brees, an outspoken born-again Christian, promotes “Bring Your Bible To School Day:”
The use of Brees in PR efforts opens up a new front in the whole “stick to sports” narrative. In the last few years, Focus on the Family has thrown considerable lobbying weight behind anti-LGBT and traditional-family ballot measures across the country, and the group’s efforts skew overwhelmingly in support of socially conservative causes.
It’s a sharp ideological departure from the NFL protests of recent years, which largely supported progressive causes and drew opposition from conservative fans and politicians, including President Trump. Whether those fans will be equally critical of an athlete not sticking to sports from a conservative angle remains to be seen.

I think people simply want him to denounce the hate group he’s been connected with for approx 10 years now (source: David Grubb). Which he failed to do. If you’re going to preach all this equality stuff, then back it up

It's not a "hate group".

Drew Brees is not an "outspoken born-again Christian" - hes very quiet about it IMO. I've never heard him say anything about being "born again" (as if that's some pejorative anyhow).

Is the Catholic Church a hate group? Because their views on gay marriage are not all that different. You MUST conclude the Palestinian Authority is a hate group as well, correct? But this same media never calls for anyone to denounce them?

do you believe the locker room is full of progressive, LBGTQ+ advocates? Lmao

I’m fine with his explanation. Just explaining that from what I’ve read, that is still an issue with some people.

Wow I'll actually agree with Lester here.
I think Brees has nothing but the best intentions, but he is a bit naive sometimes.

It’s always ok for the true hate to be casted at the “hate”

Nothing pussified about it.Brees just didn’t want to be associated with F OTF and their wacky policies, because he doesn’t agree with them and doesn’t think they represent true Christian values. I don’t blame him for setting the record straight.

But he took their money to do a promo for them...

This is why Trump got elected. God forbid if someone doesn’t follow everyone of these tools opinions.
