That wouldn’t shock me. But man they need to protect Dart. That should be the number 1 priority.

Absolutely.
His concussion issues in Year 1.... not good.

There’s always a dude who’s a workout warrior who jumps up a ton due to his workout in tights. This time it came from a player that is an absolute baller on the field. This his Julio Jones type prospect at linebacker

Sorry...who's spot in the top 7 I meant.

I think Proxi nailed it earlier when he said the Redskins would take at #7 right before us.
A lot like the Raiders did one pick before us with Brock Bowers

Well lets more players are shooting to the top.

every once in awhile you just take the best player on the board.
I agree with this, I just don’t think Styles will be the best player on the board. Most athletic maybe, but his production was good not great. If you are picking the best football player on the board then you should be picking Downs, Reese, Love, or Lemon. Taking an off ball linebacker at 8 because he had a great combine just doesn’t seem like a smart decision to me. I think Styles will be a good player, but not good enough to justify using the 8th pick on a relatively low value position.

I disagree that it’s a low value position especially because of Staley’s scheme. Micah parsons was drafted as a lb coming out..
DJ’s mock draft
If both OT’s go before us, that would mean we might have a shot at Arvel Reese if Styles jumps him

but that's just it. Maybe said player hasn't reached his best yet.
I think picking Love is a dumbass pick for example. Bijan Robinson is way more talented than he is, but what does Atlanta have to show for right now?
They'll probably cut Cousins and bet on Pennix? I mean come on.

Styles jumped off the screen more than Reese this past season IMO

Well after three great years in the nfl its hard to argue for the guy who's made zero starts

You could point to an example of a good player whose team hasn’t made the playoffs at almost any position. Jahmyr Gibbs got taken extremely high in the draft and has been the best offensive player for one of the best teams in the league for multiple years now.
I also don’t agree that Bijan is way more talented than Love. Either way Love is considered a better prospect than Gibbs was and we can see how he has panned out. We can also point to our head coach who won a Super Bowl just 2 years ago with an offense centered around Saquon Barkley. You think giving our young quarterback an elite back who can both improve the rushing attack and is a great pass catcher is a dumbass move?

I think unless Tate has an impressive showing at the combine, he could be back in play at 8. Underhill said that the Saints might be shying away from that and look toward defense but that was before the workouts. Looks like they expected some guys to rise
I wonder if this makes them pivot to Tate or if they been locked into Delane or Downs for a while. Just no way Bain (whom I don’t really want), Styles, Reese or Bailey fall. And I don’t see another defensive pick worth it at 8 if it’s not Delane or Downs.
