Probably our best bet at getting a QB out the draft. Definitely our biggest need.

Or McKee. Bring back Dalton.

If carr goes for less than expected though, I'd take him

No. This needs to be a tank year. We need to stock as much talent elsewhere as possible, shed these albatross contracts as fast as possible, and lose a LOT of games.

We shouldn't be looking to find a QB this year.

or we can get a qb. have him sit behind a vet like dalton for a year. still tank. And then get other needs filled next year.

I think there are few young QB's on NFL rosters that will be FA's this year the the Saints should look at. Don't need to reach and swing for the fences on this draft.

We can get hooker in 2nd round with his injury and age. no need to draft in at 29th

You should probably reset your expectations because the Saints likely won't be bad enough to tank.

While I don’t disagree, if you really like him having that 5th year (especially coming off an injury now) is likely worth taking him 12 spots higher.

I have no opinion on hooker but I think most teams would want that 5th cost controlled year.

You guys clearly haven't watched Tanner McKee in real time. He is hot fricking garbage. Give me almost any QB over that Paxton Lynch wannabe.

Late in first round you can get:
Hooker
Duggan
Dorian Thompson Robinson - could be a Jalen Hurts type guy

All 3 of those are big NOPES in the 1st. Hooker is geriatric and not a good prospect, Duggan is literally Sam Ehlinger redux, and DTR has a questionable arm, played in a gimmicky offense just like Hooker, and throws ducks.

I expect Jake Haener to enter late 1st round discussions post Senior Bowl. That’s my guy if I want a QB at 29.
