FIFY.

In case you guys haven't noticed, our FO doesn't go into a draft with certain position they want to draft. They go in to draft the BPA, need or not. I can definitely seeing us go for a WR at any point in the draft.

No problem, but a linebacker MUST be drafted in the first round.

I can somewhat confirm this cause his cousin goes to my school and is a Saints fan through and through! I think the ties are deeper than just in the check book.

For any of you who say draft a WR, did u watch the playoff game and our D get carved up by the crap team called the Seahawks? We need to focus on depth at CB, LB, and DL... Possibly a RB

Colston- with no significant changes and continued production there's no reason to think they would not extend him Brees favorite target

Moore- I think they reach a deal with him. Our mini Wes Welker at the same % of the Welker contract

Devery- I'd color him gone if his contract wasn't so reasonable, still possibly out but I'd expect him back another year

Meachem- his production/health next year will determine whether they try to keep him beyond next season

Arrington- cheap keeper and has only shown himself to be a playmaker if they wanna move someone else

Roby- might be keepable for his gunner talents, if they get someone who can return kicks and catch or run he could be gone

Shockey- unless he renegotiates (which I think he will) I'd say more likely gone as a cap casualty along with his age and injuries

Thomas- I think they reach a deal to tie him up

Humphrey- zzzz

Graham- the future starts big next year

as far as drafting, this is a very strong BPA team. All the more so after the first few rounds. No tellin at all on positions.

we're not drafting a WR. The reason why we couldn't get the ball downfield is because teams played deep coverage because we couldn't run the ball. WR is one of our deepest positions and we shouldn't waste a pick on it. The only WR's on our roster that can't get deep is Colston and Arrington and I've seen Colston do it before but not often.

No doubt about it. I was thinking he is a mid round kind of guy anyway. A DE,LB,or a RB would be what I hoped we targeted first. You just never can tell though.

I am saying it now. We will take a WR with our 1st round pick.

There is no reason in the world to use our 1st rounder on a WR. WR is second only to RB where you can get quality in late rounds. We need a speed rusher, a new OLB, depth at DT and S, not to mention a durable RB.

I think he drafts in the late rounds, probably someone big and tall, and/or sets Devery loose and lets Arrington go active.

Heard the same thing last year about a million times before we drafted a DB in the 1st round. Saints, track record is to draft the BPA. Payton won't do what people expect. Bottom line is Seattle's offense was better than our offense. Thats the kind of game it was. Both teams were scoring, we just couldn't keep up.

Didn't need to be fixed. If you don't get it read Payton's book, every saints fan should. This is how he coaches. Got it from Parceslls. Every game plays out differently. It's a coaches job figure out how a particular game will play out and use it to your advantage. That game was all offense. Their D played like shite too. We should have scored more.

It all starts up front every game. More times than most we got whipped up front. While their D may not have played well either, at least they were pressuring the QB.
