I think there was a big drop from the top five TEs so happy to get one. Dude has speed and can block well. Most well rounded TE perhaps.

I don’t see the nastiness that Kittle plays with. May be a great TE, but Kittles physicality is on another level

He was totally underutilized at Georgia.

If you look at them both he’s not wrong. Oscar’s 40 time is actually better than Kittles. I’m really excited about this kid.

He looks crazy fast once he gets going north and south. I’m surprised I don’t remember better from watching Georgia games. I this offense could be fun, and it’s high time to have some fun again.

Best pick of the Saints draft. He's the TE we have been needing since Jimmy Graham left us.

Tyson = risky pick because of past injuries
Miller = good pick but will only replace something we have now

Delp = much needed TE help

Reminds me of Foster Moreau. Minimal college production that killed the combine

I like Delp but Kittle moves differently. More fluid athlete imo

I think Delp is a better athlete and has a bigger ceiling than Foster.he's extremely quick off the line and fast.

Hopefully he’s the TE for next 5 years we’ve been missing.

That’s a pretty bleak assessment tbh. Delp’s ceiling seems much higher. Moreau never seemed to make flashy plays like Delp did

Think you’re being too pessimistic on this one Gyno

Moreau is a now going into 8 year veteran who's been solid all over, signed 2 post rookie contracts, and thats also dealing with a cancer.

For a 3rd I'd be happy with that. If we spent a 1st or 2nd yeah I'd lose it

Why is Delp’s ceiling higher? UGA’s pass game hasn’t had much competition since Bowers and Ladd left. You would think Delp would have more production

And Moreau isn’t an insult. He had better production as a pro vs when he was at LSU. He was a combine freak too. Doesn’t guarantee one becomes a dude

I mean we’re gonna sit here and act like Stockton could sling it like Beck? For all of Beck’s faults he could still make much higher caliber throws and their offense reflected that.

Stockton only had one game over 300 passing yards and didn’t even throw for 3k yards. UGA is a notorious run first team. But I’m not gonna sit here and argue with you. You believe how you believe. Whatever

He played 14 games with Beck his junior year, caught 21 balls. Lawson Luckie outpaced him at TE.

I’m not arguing anything

Delp averaged 14 games. 20 balls for 255 yards his past two seasons. Moreau averaged 13 games, 23 balls for 275 yards his last two years. They both killed the combine. It’s just who I was reminded of. If he has Moreau’s career as a third round pick that’s a win

Hes too soft.
Thats why he didnt have much success at georgia.
If he had that competitive streak and the nastyness. He would been the bulldogs leading reciever.

I'm not sure anyone else has called Foster Moreau a combine freak. Here's the actual numbers:

Moreau
6'4" 1/8
253 lbs
4.66 40yd
36.5" vertical
22 bench reps
10'1" broad jump

Delp
6'4" 7/8
245 lbs
4.49 40yd
38' vertical
23 bench reps
10'5" broad jump

Delp is fast fast, not just tight end fast.

Foster does have slightly longer arms and bigger hands.

I just went and watched highlights of both of college tape and I just don’t see how you came to this conclusion. Kittle doesn’t look THAT much different than Delp when he was at Iowa.
