Good video.

Bodies are complicated.

So if this is in fact the injury he suffered, it’s looking at a 4-6 week recovery period in a hard cast. After that it’s a matter of getting his strength back.

Need to float around .500 and hope for a wildcard if the 4-6 week timeline holds up.

Our shot at a bye went out the window today.

after watching that video... I'm a little more hopeful of getting him back this season... perhaps even right by our bye week before our 1st game with those wretched Dirty Birds

still... Drew not wanting to discuss the outcome of the x-ray has me worried he could have already been diagnosed with that avulsion fracture the doc talked about 4:15 into the clip

I just want Drew back in time to where it's not too late and we can still make a playoff run

if we can get to the bye week at 4-4 (targeting wins over the Bucs, Jaguars, & Cardinals)... and Drew can come back right after the bye week to face the Falcons... I think we'll be sitting pretty and a 11-5 or 10-6 record isn't out of the question

I honestly don't expect him back this season. If we are out of it by the time he's back then Payton/Loomis will shut him down

the great thing for us is that if we can get Brees back after the bye week... we will have only played 1 division game.. and it's the Bucs

we could get Drew back for both games vs. ATL & both games vs. CAR

Dude this is like the first realistic forward practical thing I’ve read about the situation as a whole I tip my cap to this optimism

If he is out 6 weeks I would rather tank the season, bring drew back well rested next year, and have a shot at a good QB in the draft that drew can mentor. Otherwise, 8-8, missing the playoffs, and a crappy mid-round draft pick is a real possibility.

Hopefully we can get him back after our bye week. We would only have played one division game at that point. That would be the best case scenario
