Actually, Ivory is. He's currently healthy and has shown productivity in the league, which gets you value.
And I don't see them moving him.

Yes
Sproles and Pierre will be here as long as they want, IMO. Ivory still hasn't proven he can avoid injuries. Ingram obviously had injuries this year, we'll see how much of an issue it becomes, if at all.
I'd say 2013 is the absolute earliest we see a defection

Absolutely.
Sproles - Best all around player ever.
PT - runs arguably the best screen in the NFL, and is a beast in the run game.
Ivory - BEAST. he runs people over and always falls forward. There is alot of fight in this little guy.
Ingram - first round draft pic rookie. I never judge a rookie on his first season. Not enough time to judge him, and he got hurt. Look forward to watching this guys progress.

I think we've gotta go with all 4. It honestly worked out perfectly this year using them all and keeping them all fresh. They all combined make less than an AP or CJ.

By far the biggest thing ingram has to improve is his anticipation. You could tell he was trying to feel his way through a hole instead of just go and NFL defenses are just too fast for that.
Seems like experience is the only thing to correct that. Anyone who wants to give up on him at this point is silly.

I understand why people keep saying Ivory and Ingram are the same runners, but they are a bit different. Both do run hard, and both have lots of power. The main distinction is Ivory has a little more power it seems, while Ingram brings a bit more elusiveness and speed (this is strictly by my observation, so I can be wrong). Ingram is an all around back though; he can block and catch. Ivory still will need to learn this.
You keep all four. Ingram still has the most upside of the three pure runners, and he showed better vision as the season went on.
Blues, I am dissapointed in you. You have fallen into the hipster trap of calling people by letters and numbers. "PT23"??? Really?!?!?!
I am starting to loathe this trend of letter#... If I hear CJ2K said anymore next season, I'm going to icepick my eardrum

Making me get another cup o java this morning... shaking my head remembering how bad '10 was. Having to sign multiple guys off the street to start!?! Anyone notice none of those guys are playing anywhere now?
So why not? Sproles and PT23 are similar but still fulfill their roles differently. Ivory & Ingram are more similar but cheap enough. '10 was the learning year for RB depth. There we were in the SF game down to two again
Don't need to look to 2010 to justify drafting ingram, just look at our entire fricking defense and maybe losing nicks and colston and chew on that monkey without a first round pick.

you've really become a 1 trick pony as of late

We did draft a DE in the first round last year. People seem to forget that.

but we had two firsts last year, so that's all balanced out. to say we lost a second round pick would be more accurate

I've got many pony's but my pony has had no reason to change. This is a thread about my pony pretty much.

Still including, we have no second starting DT, ELlis starting to suck and rookie deal is nearing end, Will Smith could get cut, All of our LB's pretty much suck and Jenkins is not living up to potential.

Simple answer, yes.
The only RB with any "trade" value would be Sproles, simple because of the year he has had. And that exact reason is why he is going nowhere.
PT, Ingram, and Ivory all have similar value in the trade market....not much. The biggest reason they aren't going anywhere is the cap friendly contracts and the production. Yeah, they are't AP, but they are productive, as a unit.
6th in the NFL in rushing....better than San Fran, Balt, Chicago, Atlanta, NYJ...all who are perceived to have better rushing attacks than most teams.
Eta: better perceived RBs, I should have said.

Hipsters don't watch sports, so your statement is false.

Not sure on the contract/business end but PT is the only guy i could see someone trading for.
Green Bay appears to be a good fit. PT is known as a good screen back, picks up the blitz, catches the ball well, and is a good runner and a veteran with no character issues. He would also be in an offense that wouldn't require him to carry that ball more than 15 times a game. (plus they have other backs to rotate in)
