Do people think Bresee is injury prone because of the ACL?

Or did he have a bunch of nagging injuries? Turner and Davenport are just constantly pulling muscles and getting dumb injuries. I don’t really think that’s the same. But I honestly don’t know the injury history here

Tore his ACL 2 years ago and apparently had minor shoulder surgery while rehabbing the knee

Then missed time last season due to a kidney infection that started as strep throat

I think it’s overblown

He blew a knee then his sister died last year is all I know.
The guy can play. Let's see what happens.
Looking for edge or safety tomorrow.

Torn ACL and shoulder surgery.

FWIW his ceiling is much higher than Davenport or Turner, and it fills a position of need. It's going to be a steal of a pick getting him at 29 if he hits.

This is a solid pick IMO

Haven’t heard his name since 2020. So it’s either injuries or he’s cheeks

Bresee would start every game for Clemson as a freshman in 2020, recording 33 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. In the CFP Semi Finals, Bresee would record 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack in the Tigers loss to Ohio State. At the conclusion of his freshman season he would be named the ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year, and an All-ACC first team member.[4] Bresee would suffer from injuries in 2021, playing in just four games with an ACL tear but would earn All-ACC honors.[5] In 2022, Bresee would miss several games due to injury and family matters but would once again earn All-ACC honors

I'm not going to pretend to know anything about him, but past injuries always concern me. I read he wasn't very productive for Clemson, but looks like he was great as a Fresh? I'm not bashing the pick, but I hope he can stay healthy and have a nice career.

You want players that are peaking coming into the draft, not drafting them based on who they were 3 years ago. Sounds like his career arc was similar to Kayshon Boutte.

Of course it’s overblown. Hell I remember this board collectively losing its mind over the fact Lattimore fell then just as easily freaking the frick out about his “hamstring issues” while in college

Meh. Stupid logic. Most everyone never heard of several great players in the first round that turned out to be studs

Lattimore is amazing but hamstrings have been an issue for him. This dude did not play close to Lattimores level last year. To compare them is ludicrous.

Not really. He played for a major clemsin program and even with another first rounder on dline didnt stand out but ok keep eating the positive off season vibes.

You’re so fricking stupid you can’t even see that I’m comparing this fan bases reaction to injuries.
