Nvm per this guy

quote:

New #Saints WR Dez Bryant is expected to sit out Sunday‘s game vs. #Bengals. They want him to drop weight and he needs more than two practices to learn the offense, build chemistry, etc. Debut could come the following week vs. the #Eagles. @nflnetwork

Is 5 pounds truly really that big of a deal for 15 snaps?

Not sure how it is for professional athletes, but in general it's not healthy to lose 5 pounds in the matter of a few days.

They must just mean football shape.
And u don't have a receiver up and active if he can't go the whole game
What if someone gets hurt and he doesn't play sp teams

I actually thought he might have a chance to suit up and even see the field in certain situations. No problem with him sitting tho....makes sense.

2lbs a week is healthy. It's not exactly just a few days for him.

So 3 active WR on Sunday plus Dan Arnold.

Carr and Arnold may need to contribute a catch or two.

Where are you seeing this? I know he missed practice yesterday but can't find him officially ruled out for Sunday.
