Supply and demand buddy. If he hits the market, he’s getting minimum 25 a year.

If I had to guess, some where between 25-30. The qb market is that bad and he will be the best available outside giving up multiple firsts and a guaranteed contract to Lamar.

I like Brissett also. I prefer carr though if we can get him at a reasonable price

Can Carr win us the division? Probably because it sucks. Anything above that? Nope.

This is Mickey and co. trying to win just enough to continue their reign

What pick did we trade for Heath Shuler? Afterwards, washington was like “shite, we were gonna cut him anyway, hell yeah we will take your pick”

This feels like history is about to repeat.

Carr is a lot better than Heath Shuler.

You can “supply” Carr all day long for $25 million a year and I won’t “demand” shite because I can get similar production from a guy on a 1 year $5-7 million dollar deal.

I have no idea how good or bad Derek Carr would be if he was a Saint next year.

But I did get a laugh a bit ago seeing a Raiders fan talk about Derek Carr and his “plethora” of weapons with the Raiders. The Raiders second leading receiver last season was a guy that’s previous most yards in a season was 226, and he did that as a rookie nearly half a decade ago.

I agree. And I’m saying the same thing I actually said numerous times last off-season. Whoever wants a shot at starting and believes in themselves enough to take a 3 million dollar one year deal with incentives tied to team success with them starting can get the job.

If we did that we wouldn’t be saddled with the 18 million we have to pay Winston to go away now.

Just for clarity sake: The @Raiders and @Saints have agreed on compensation element of a trade for Derek Carr. That was always the requirement for any team to get permission to speak with Carr.

That was quick.

For some reason i feel like the saints are going to give them a 2nd for carr.

Now tell me about the Saints's second leading guy. Juwan Johnson, wasn't it? The third year TE/WR hybrid who was undrafted and hadn't sniffed 200 yards in a season before this one, right?

Carr also had Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller individually for half a season also.

Oh, and then there's that pesky Josh Jacobs guy who just had a 2k yard all purpose season and led the league in rushing.

Yeah...weapons. Carr had quite a few of them compared to the shitshow that took the field with Dalton last year. And I'm no Dalton fan, just anti-Carr because I've watched a ton of him to know he's cheeks.

If you love Hendon Hooker then take him at 29 so you get the 5th year option if he turns out to be good. Then sign Dalton or someone like him. My bridge QB pick is Jacoby Brissette. Let the vet play the first half of the year then give Hooker the ball when he’s heathy and let him get his feet wet. If you don’t love a

Can't tell you that, but I stopped at the part where he legitimately suggested taking Hendon Hooker at 29. Telltale sign of a doofus.

VSIN host and forner NFL GM Michael Lombardi, says that Carr's skillsets and the Saint's OL and RB/WR talent, would be a pretty good marriage.

Here’s the thing though, I never said he would have more weapons with the Saints?
