Draft somebody. Think of all the young QBs we’ve missed out on since the washed Brees years.

+1

The problem with this organization is that they think they are still in that “window”.

That window shut years ago.

They just refuse to accept the rebuild for a few years to reset and clean up the terrible cap situation.

You are going to have to go through that rough period eventually.

Absolutely.

Everything they did this offseason told us that they're in "win now" mode when anyone with half a brain could see the Saints made a bunch of moves without any real substance or vision for how these additions elevated the squad and it starts with Carr and Williams.

It’s ok, this is the year to draft a qb . Remember that when we lose a game. It’s a good thing in disguise sometimes. The middle of the first round will still have guys available that would normally be impossible to get. Hell you could get penix in the second maybe

I mean if Carr doesn’t get injured, we are probably sitting at 3-0 with two wins the road starting the year.

He’s better than I gave him credit for… he’s covering up a lot of mediocrity. Carmichael got away with it for two and a half games, until he lost his crutch

Tf you smoking? Great is Brady, Brees, or Manning. Carr is…a QB. That’s it.

DO you trust this coaching staff with developing a rookie QB? Haener may have the talent to be "that guy", but I do not believe he will become that guy with this offensive staff around.

They have tried a few times to get someone for the "QB whisperer" to develop

Carr's contract is middle of the road. He's not overpaid by any means.

Great is a stretch. But good/serviceable is probably a better description.

Will say though, there seemed to be a major shift in body language/overall team confidence once he went down. Seems clear that the team trusts him. Hope he’s not out too long.

there does seem to be something there with him and our receivers like they arent allowed to practice as much together as they want to.

thats a coaching concern for me when a QB AND a WR both say they need more game time to learn how each will react during games.

makes me wonder if the coaches are so wound up in game plans and plays that they arent letting guys just play and get in tune with each other. seems at least like carr and olave have, or had, that common understanding when to adjust and break off routes as needed.

This is actually a somewhat thoughtful and intelligent comment. Who hacked into Keakar's account and posted for him??
