9-30 as a HC. He's a great coordinator, but sucks as a HC

All that matters is he's currently failing in the role by the inability to address the offense. Three games now of inconsistent, shoddy, listless offense with a QB regressing more every week.

Honestly, the lazy hire was keeping Pete. He is showing why he was hesitant to take it.

Keeping pete was inevitable when recommitted to jameis that’s been learning system for 2 years.

They have been struggling to get JW on the same page for 3 years now. Nothing lazy about it. But you people wanted another OC just so JW could learn all over again. Yall are nuts.

If we had got a new OC you might as well have dumped the whole team. And yes of course if we keep losing that is going to happen anyway.

Everyone keeps giving DA shite for his time as the Raiders HC, but he was starting to get that roster turned around. They were a TERRIBLE organization from top to bottom back then.

He inherited a Saints team that was broken offensively with sub-par talent and depth. Give the guy a couple year to try and fix the mess that Payton left him. And I doubt he keeps Carmichael as his OC. Either Pete retires or he gets his wish and coaches the QBs. Winston? Maybe keep him until you can develop his replacement, or let him go and ride the redhead until your next guy is ready.

Do not overlook Carmichael and his responsibility.

He’s not a lazy hire. He earned the opportunity here. Is it working out? So far no, and it does look concerning. Will it work out? Who knows but so far doubtful. Still it was the right hire based on his time and success here, and time will tell if we need to move on. Threads like this are lazy.

He was hired to see the Saints revert back to the Aints

They'll fire him once the money woes are resolved and will start the rebuild with a better HC.

I agree
Look at what Miami has done and it's paid huge dividends
