You had years to understand.... you weren’t mad before, don’t allow today’s times to persuade your view.

Nola is Nola, the symbol is whatever. #WhoDat

One person says something you don't like and you rush to ST for reinforcement.

Symbols can take on new meanings.

No one associates the fleur de lis with that garbage.

I like the comment that says some slaves were branded with numbers, might as well ban numbers too.

This cancel and remove everything needs to stop.

Delvin kind of seems dumb from reading his responses to the comments. People saying that it came to represent something else and that it has a whole different meaning now and his response was basically “yeah, but I learned this today”

The fact that he had to do deep digging into the history of this symbol just goes to show nobody associates it with slavery branding.

The symbol has a very long and rich history for a number of things.

Nobody should be offended by it in today's time for being used as some sort of branding.

fleur de lis is a flower.... It's a Lilly... It has been a symbol of a city, a country, several coats of arms, and was used on some slave ships..... not unlike slavery flourishing under the American flag..... shall we get rid of it too? It's not an evil symbol.... it was employed by evil people.... The Klan uses the Bible.....

He broke his leg wearing Nike cleats. They are clearly a symbol of black oppression.

Slaves were sold at auction.

We need to cancel and ban all auctions. They’re clearly racist and serve as a painful reminder of the times of slavery.

Drew Brees is currently working on a long apology for wearing the fleur de lis for so many years.

I let’s try and ban something like the Fleur de Lis because it was branded on slaves, but let’s support abortions although planned parenthood was founded by a racist, whose intent was to use it to control the black population.

Bottom line is Breaux was looking for something to try and get people worked up and cause more chaos, and surprisingly it didn’t work.
