Never! Fight until the end! We're still not statistically eliminated!

Don't come in here with logical thought and facts. It's kryptonite on this board.

For as much as people here complain about ESPN mis-reporting and running with half assed and misunderstood data, they sure do it themselves....A LOT.

Saints should try to win. If he goes he goes.

It makes a ton of sense, but people are stupid.

We get a better draft pick, they might not come hard after our coach.

I hate to see us lose, also. Last week did me so much good to see a beatdown. BUT!!!! I know for a fact that in April I could care less about meaningless games in Dec. I would just hate to see the best Def players coming off the board left and right ahead of us because we won games that don't matter in the long run. Except Carolina. I can't deal with the thought of Cam and Smith leaving the Dome happy.

All of this. Dan says a lot that's tongue in cheek. Unfortunately, there are a lot of posters here who have no ability to recognize it.

every poster can't be as learned as you in the spoken and written word. you just going to have to accept that.

yeah, same here. I laugh at the "we should tank" crowd. So what, we could move up 1 or 2 spots in the draft? Get the frick out of here with that bullshite. I'm sure the majority of that crowd are just bandwagon fans anyway.

I'm just glad it wasn't Cowherd who said this
Just imagine the tomfoolery that would have followed on this board

Anyone who can't recognize the enormous benefits of us losing out and the Cowboys winning out is a fricking moron.

We keep Payton, they keep Garrett
We get possibly a top 10 draft pick instead of 16ish

It's a no-brainer

some people like to try and appear superior in their fandom by not being rational. it was the same last year for the hornets i was one of the drivers of the tank. got a lot of hate on the hornets boards but we ended up with the #1 pick and anthony davis so i think it was the right thing to do.

whatever dude. Until the game is over I'm rooting for a Saints win. You won't see me pitching a fit if we lose afterwards either though.

I've just never rooted against my team. And I'm not going to start because of some dumb fricking rumor that people keep trying to stir up.

well just look at our last top ten pick. He has become a regular joke on this board.

Are you going to rip the first player we pick in the draft this year again? Yeah, I remember your thread about Akiem Hicks.

Trust me with the Cowboys in the hunt (or even knocked out), Garrett is not going anywhere this season except back to Dallas.

Lol. I've admitted multiple times that I was way off on Hicks. I can see now why McCarthy did what he did hahaha.

So disagreeing with the drafting of one player suddenly makes my opinion on any Saints draft-related topics void?

I hope Witten has 15 catches for 100+ yards and a score or two.

nah, just breaking balls.

and having a top ten pick wouldn't be the greatest thing ever in my opinion.

I mean look at the last three guys we've taken there. Reggie did pretty good but he's already gone. And then there was Jonathon Sullivan, talk about a complete bust. People on here act like Sedrick Ellis is worse than that fat piece of shite was. As for Ellis, he had a few good years and missed some games early in his career with injuries but he has been underwhelming too. Definitely not what you would hope for when you trade up to the #7 spot to take him. He hasn't done much this year and you would think he won't be back next year. if he does come back, hopefully it will be on the cheap.
