With Kamara hurting he should be shut down for three weeks. If we had Ingram it would be no problem but Murray has been a little underwhelming. I still hope we shut Kamara down and Murray surprises me. I just haven’t seen it yet.

Murray is with a new team and is pretty much a plow horse. He started to flash last week. He has deceptive speed and power. Runs a little too vertical but is very effective. But he's a punishing back when given 20+ carries. Wears the defense down. Especially in the 4th quarter. We will be just fine.

Latavius is that 1 cut back that works well with a fb. If Payton gives him that he will flourish.

Murray is a 6'3" 230 lbs. thoroughbred that needs to be lathered up. 3-5 carries per game is meaningless as he needs 13-18 carries to open up the passing game for Teddy.

How do you count on a guy like that
If not for that, I think the Saints would have tried a little harder to keep him, they weren't going to overpay him.
Murray looked a lot better against Jags but depth is definitely a concern. It might be worth holding Kamara out until after bye, let him get fully healthy for the division games after that.

Ingram's agent was looking out for himself and not Mark. Told Ingram he was worth a lot more $$$ on the open FA market. Saints tried to negotiate a 3-4 year contract with Ingram as his agent directed Mark not to return calls or texts since he was working on the Baltimore deal.
Kamara definitely lost his best friend and running mate. Payton cannot run Kamara into the ground as Murray needs a lot more carries pg

Murray can't get on the field because he can't pass block! Ingram was one of the best pass blocking RBs in the league.

One thing we have been missing since MI left is that he was a stone wall on blitz pick-ups. Loved watching linebackers flip up and over him. That's been missing.

I think Murray has been underutilized. He’s had some nice and runs and catches when they actually give him the ball.

Right on ! Last week was a prime example. One of those guys that needs consecutive carries to get in a rhythm. You will forget Ingram in the long run.

Ingram made a foolish mistake by buying a story from a new firm. No way does he want to end up in Washington making that close to what the Saints would have paid. That is Ingram's fault for not thinking it through.
Murray is averaging more yards per rush than Kamara in 2019. He is the new guy. The new 2nd guy so that does not give him the carries to really see what he can do for the Saints. I think we will see a guy with something to prove if he has to carry the load Sunday.
