Any of you defending Hartley can go screw yourselves. NFL kickers should not miss even one chip shot fieldgoal in a season, much less multiple misses after just 3 games. He cost them a game last year too, missing in the same way from about the same distance. If they don't at least bring in some guys this week, then we can forget about going anywhere this year. It's already cost us the NFC South. There's not way in this world the Saints are walking into Atlanta for a Monday Night game and coming out a winner. If they don't fix the problem now, the next step is to lose a shot at the playoffs. Even if the do make the playoffs as a wildcard, they will be probably be heading to play the Packers or Bears in the dead of winter. That kick just toasted this season for the Saints.

Who is even out there to bring in this week? I mean if you want to at least send him a message you bring in a few other kickers to at least try out. But who is available?

Kris Brown and Shayne Graham are both solid.

Bring them in to at least send a messege, or bring them in to get him out of here.

all the kicks this kid has missed this year he has rushed into them, if he takes him time and just kicks like he normaly does he doesn't miss yet this year! all the misses was from pure adrenaline rush, maybe he needs to go back to taking that shite he was taking!

Well, since Hartley allowed an 11 minute TD drive, accomplished a -3 TO differential, and clearly missed a more difficult kick to send the game into OT, we should execute him...

yeah, march him out in front firing squad, really if this kid would just relax when kickin he would be a very efficient kicker!

We won a number of games due to missed kicks last year. Freakish misses happen.

Who doesn't think Hartley can hit 99 out of 100 of those kicks all day long?

Josh Jasper won't be available until next year.

Soph, kicker is almost always a revolving door and in no way is Hartley irreplaceable

Hartley isn't right this year, even his made kicks aren't smooth. It cost us today, it will likely cost us again.

Overreact much? It's the third week of the season. It's not good losing to the main competition for the division title but there is another 13 games left.

Hartley is great on long range kicks, but maybe they should have kept old man Carney around a lil longer

that dude is automatic on short range kicks!
