Question----Do you think that our office would really play hardball with Dallas or another team if Payton wanted to coach there.

I could see Loomis maybe by word of Benson doing Payton a solid and Thanking him for his service to the organization by letting him go for nothing or practically nothing especially a year after.

Yes, especially to another NFC team.

This is business.

He won't be able to coach Dallas until 2025. He's under contract through 24 and I'd bet my left nut that Benson/Loomis wouldn't let him go to Dallas.

His contract is in freeze mode now. We will retain his rights if he wants to come back

Thanks for the training on brining a bad team to greatness

CSP knows he can win in Dallas, he may take a break, but he's coming home

That’s gonna cost Dallas a boatload.

He's not going into Dallas to be handcuffed by Jerry Jones...

HA! "This century" -- good one. You got one in your 55 years, almost 15 years ago, and you think you're something

Jerry and Parcells didn't work. Jerry and Jimmy didn't work. He and Sean will be at each other's throats the moment he signs the contract. I could see Sean coaching for an owner who would give him the control that he had in Nola, but I don't think he is dumb enough to believe he and Jerry could work well together.

Why would he go to Dallas when he has his pick of the litter in relented young QBs?

He’d be better off as a Charger
