For the most part they do. Look no further than Chris Paul and Anthony Davis from the Pels.
The NFL is the most insulated but Jerry Jones and other owners will eventually lessen the hard cap requirements over the next collective bargaining agreement. Players will want a bigger piece of the pie and the individual teams ability to generate revenue should be factored into the equation.

I really cannot stand that guy, but this seems to be accurate.

Two totally different leagues, CBA's & league revenue structure. The NBA has to deal with both national & local television deals as to where the NFL only has national television deals.

You are a clown if you believe that the NFL owners & Goodell would simply give players more power than they already have. They will not give into the Player's Association as easily as the NBA did before the NBA owners made a slight correction to the matter.

There it is Colin said it is not good. Might as well pack it in.
Who the frick actually cares what he has to say? He has never been a GM in any sport in his life. In the NFL, the right coaches and players can change a team very quickly.
No one thought Dan Campbell was a good choice as HC for Detroit. In 4 years he took that laughing stock to the NFC Championship Game as well as Number 1 seed. Jared Goff is his QB. Washington with all their mismanagement over the years had a rookie QB take them to the NFC Championship Game. It is possible to win. It will take time. Moore will have the time to do it.

None of this is relevant to the NFL, and the NFL is not changing. They print money like its going out of style and have the least powerful union in all of US Sports

2025 will suck. It’ll be the band aid ripoff year. 2026 will also likely be meh. But it means we get a top 5 pick next year and purge ourselves of the bad cap and older guys. It’s a true transition. And gives Moore time to work out the kinks

Problem is, better roster or not, we still have to play in the WWNFLOL and, as a result, beat not only the other teams, but Roger the Clown and the refs as well.

If we don’t manage the roster better and if we continue to slip and slide on the draft, no coach is going to do well.

That’s what I’ve been saying. I’m sure with Moore at the helm, we will be able to develop our players better than what we did with DA
However, it still doesn’t mean all that much if you don’t take the right guys. Because of the situation our roster is in, we should be able to just take the absolute best guys on our board instead of just taking guys at positions if need (Penning, Fuaga, etc.) If Moore can draft well a couple of years in a row, he’ll have success here. If we continue to struggle in that regard, he won’t.
