Yes, a WR like a Shaheed that you mentioned makes that catch because he's fast and has good hands, Thomas and Olave makes that too. Even Juwan Johnson makes that catch, but Moreau is not as fast as any of the previously mentioned players. His speed is limited which is why he had to extend like that to try and bring it in, Juwan Johnson catches that easily because of his speed. But all I was trying to say earlier is that Carr didn't need to lead him like that on that pass. The Jacksonville DBs reacted as if they didn't even know that Moreau was behind them. Lol All Carr had to do was throw over them like he did right to Moreau without leading him like that. He does that and it's an easy catch for Moreau and an easy TD.

Why are we acting like this is the first time a pro has dropped a ball that should have been caught?

It wasn't a perfect throw like some of y'all seem to think for some reason.

You don’t have time on a play like that as a qb to see how open the wr is and take in the geometry of angles on how fast slow you throw it. You make the throw how it’s drawn up. And carr did. And it bounced off the wide open hands of Moreau

Not even close to a perfect pass. The dude had no one around him. He looks back for the ball, he’s all alone. Shoulda been simple. Hit him in the chest.

Carr for some reason throws a pass to the back pylon that has him sprinting towards the sideline fully stretched out. Just put that ball in his gut. Shoulda been caught definitely. Qb made it harder than it had to be.

It doesn’t have to be a perfect pass to be an easy catch. “Perfect” passes are few and far between, even in the NFL.

That's ridiculous what you said, he had time in the pocket to make that throw right to Moreau, I don't know what you're trying to say.

He hit Moreau in stride. Moreau just dropped it.

Listen, we'll argue for this for days, but the bottom line is I don't agree with y'all and y'all don't agree with me. I think Carr lead him too much on the throw when he didn't need to, the pass should have been over the DBs heads and right to Moreau where he didn't need to extend like that at all.

No offense, but it’s because you’re dumb.

When the nfl season is done, and thru compile all TD receptions, that will be in the top 10 percentile as one of the easiest possible TDs to catch.

Truly amazing how you can know exactly what everyone else is thinking.

Maybe where Moreau went to college isn’t as important as Carr’s overall performance historically and last night in the red zone? In any event it should have been caught

How?

There’s only one spot to put that ball, and Carr executed.

In his hands, on a full sprint to the back corner pylon, fully stretched, when coulda just made a simple throw to his body. There was zero reason to lead him that much. I’m just saying it wasn’t a perfect throw.
