IMO, the pussification of offseason workouts and training camp is actually causing more injuries

That, and HGH

Good call, I forgot about him. He may take a little convincing since it's been said he was interested in playing for the Falcons so he can watch his son play at Georgia, but money talks and we have a little bit of cash left.

Legit question. Can the Saints afford R.Seymour - or anyone for that matter? I know I remember reading that the Saints were the closest to the cap of the 4 NFC South teams but don't remember how close.

I think we're a solid 5-7 mil under the cap right now.

Hey, Dick Seymour? Yes, this is Sean Payton. Our offense scores 78 points a game and we're thin at your position on defense. Want to come play for a Super Bowl contender?

As much as we all hate the Falcons, they have a pretty good offense, a thin D-line, and were in the NFC Championship game last year and still haven't signed him.

Damn these fricking camps this year.
What team hasn't seen a season ending injury this year?

Hopefully Steve Breaston will fill in well.
But I'm wondering if that'll give Hakim and Tanner a better shot at making it.

As for Coleman, sorry to hear that, he was a promising young player.
Maybe we can pick up a FA D-lineman somewhere.

Coleman isn't exactly young at 34.
