All reports I’ve seen so far is Jalen Milroe made a tremendous error in declaring for the 2025 draft. He has struggled mightily so far at every practice.

Lord I feel bad for him. Sometimes you have to question the people advising you.

a WR that will be a later pick to maybe keep in mind Jaylen Royals- Utah St.

also, the tackle from Purdue Mbow.

projects maybe to play guard or center in the pros. He's undersized but uses his hands really well when blocking.

Not really because some here have stumped for the Saints to draft Milroe.

Anyone seriously supporting that thought before this week is someone you should not even bother entertaining or addressing.

Oh I didn’t but still people actually said that Milroe would be a solid 2nd round pick for the Saints.

These people offer their opinion in other threads as well. Shows the IQ of what we’re working with here.

Remember this gem last month lol. He wanted us to pick him in the top ten.

I’d take him as an undrafted free agent. Maybe he can do some Taysom type stuff but I doubt it.

Picked him a few times with our 2nd third round pick from Latt in a mock simulator.

QBs often get overrated come draft time. I find it hard to believe any team takes him in the first 3 rounds, but it’s happened before.

Seems like Dart is moving up the draft board. I was thinking we could grab him in the third, but not so sure now. Probably not an option anymore. Would need to take him higher.

Heard someone on the radio talking about Willie Lampkin from UNC yesterday. Said he was absolutely stonewalling people. Said he was a wrestler in high school and he’s explosive and has great hands and technique.

But… he’s 5’11” and 290lbs.

They said that if he was 6’4” or something he’d be the top OL. They also mentioned maybe fitting in as a fullback of H-back type roll. It’ll be interesting to see where he goes.

I think the city would be burned down if that happened.

I could see a team draft him (not high) trying to make him into the next Taysom Hill.

The league has had enough time to duplicate Taysom Hill and they have tried and failed many times. IMO there will not be another player like him any time soon if ever.
He’s really that special and will deserve HoF consideration but won’t get it because the league still doesn’t understand how special his really is.

Totally agree with this. I’m not saying that I would want the Saints to draft Milroe but I could see a team trying to.

And I also agree with you that Hill should be in the HoF one day and also agree that he probably won’t get in because of "stats/numbers".

This might sound silly but he reminds me of a great offensive lineman where his play can change a game but it doesn’t show up in the box score.
