He will be here until the end of the season. There won’t be any coaching changes mid season

100% chance he's calling plays against the Lions....nothing to prove otherwise.

For all of the poster wanting a better draft pick because this team looks like a dumpster fire and heads need to roll should really be pulling for Pete to be the OC for the rest of the year.

This team's ceiling is to not get embarrassed at home in the WC round. If making the playoffs is a fan's goal, the start chomping at the bit to make coaching moves mid-season. If you're ready to pull off the band-aid, take lumps for the next few seasons until the roster can be fixed; then you want Pete calling plays for the next 6 weeks.

He is DA's 'get out of jail' card. DA will use it at the end of the year to try and save his arse.
And yes. We all want DA and Pete gone.

If they were going to can him it would have happened already. Nothing yesterday changes anything.

Why fire him? The Saints make more money losing than when they win! It's time people realize this: The Saints are one of the most crooked organizations in sports, if not the most crooked. They've been tanking for years. NO OTHER organization has more last-possession losses than this organization, and NO OTHER organization has allowed any other organization to have first-time success as this garbage organization does. If Saints fans want to be a dominant force in the NFL and contend regularly, then the only way it will EVER happen is for new ownership that WANTS to win! One of the greatest QBsof all time produduced ONE suporbowl! ONE!!!!!!

When we miss the playoffs I predict he is gone.
Mickey/Gayle will allow one more season under DA with a new OC to see if we can make this Carr experiment work.
If it’s the same story next year, DA is gone and we start the rebuild. I’m wondering if they draft their next franchise QB in 2024 or wait for 2025.

It’s really tough because you want the new coach to get to pick his own, but the 2024 class is a great QB class. The reality though is that unless they really just DGAF, Allen will 100% be fired next year. This team is going nowhere and it’s not getting better.

I've actually shifted my blame from Pete to just flat out bad player execution. Most plays I see open receivers that are not getting the ball.

Truly doubt either Pete or Allen are fired this year.
Team ownership and management are content.
