I wouldn't hate it. He'd be a great presence in the locker room,

He would definitely bring that superbowl desperation spirit, which is good to have around the young guys.

I feel that is a portion of the impact the now blacklisted sharper brought to the defense; that and an interception machine.

We could use a few of these.

Anyone heard if he is still in town? If so, we may be negotiating. If not, we may have just been "kicking the tires."

Players do not fly into town for a team to just kick the tires. There's dialog that goes on beforehand that determines genuine interests and possibility of a deal getting down before a trip is scheduled.

As a team I think we have to have the worst beat writers in the business they don't break any news until a national guy does.

adrian peterson, frank gore, and marshawn lynch all had more, or the same amount of carries going into last year. All 3 finished top 10 in rushing yards.

That's not always true. If a player is coming off of an injury (as Champ is) teams will fly them in to see where they are physically. If a player leaves, it typically means they are not at the point to get something done yet, but may talk later or keep the channels of communication open.

WWL actually got a call from somebody saying they saw the picture online, then they had Garic go and get confirmation of what everyone knew like an hour later.

Glad they were on top of it. It is a joke that Garic is their lead on anything Saints. I would bet the Saints were not excited that Lewis posted that picture as there were no reports of his visit anywhere until that came out.

Semper Fi.

Garic and Bobby are so much better than Deke and Bobby and it isn't even close. That being said, I think that says more about Deke than Garic.

They have another guy, Seth Dunlap I think is his name. He fills in for Garic on the morning show with TBob when Garic is out.

The guy is a genuinely GREAT radio guy. HE should be the one that leads WWL shows, not freaking Deke.

I'm sure it was Paddy but he's to humble to admit it.

I think there's a decent chance he signs with us. He's made his money and had a stellar career. He's chasing a ring. I don't see him signing with a dumpster fire for more money.

Hope they sign him on just to coach up our corners. He was the top corner for about 10 years. But he lost a step or 2 now.
