If I was a Tulane student, I would try like hell to take his class.

I mentioned awhile back that I met the guy and played cards with him a couple of times way back when . . . like when I was in law school. One of the coolest and funniest guys I ever met. I've seen him at Houston's on St. Charles a few times at lunch. Just a regular guy who loves LSU, the Saints, New Orleans and Louisiana.

You can add Kurt Warner and Kevin Mawae to that list. Both came out supporting the Saints this week on NFL radio

Kurt has to say that because Danny McCray told him to.

If you're not from Indianapolis and you're rooting against the Saints, there's something wrong with you

It also could be because of jealousy that their team never won a super bowl - vikings, eagles, and falcon fans especially. The saints have always been a team they could look down on. After we win it'll be the other way around.

I have heard Aikman talk glowingly about the Saints....except when they played the Cowboys.
quote

It sounds like lip service. It is in actual game time where Aikman's comments reveal what he thinks. I have never heard impartial commentary in his broadcasts of the Saints, much less glowing praise.

I'm am sure he sides with the NFC and the South against the likes of the Colts..even if it means publicly complementing his long time enemy-the N.O. Saints.

Carville is a 100% New Orleans guy, heard him on Mike and Mike this morning and all he did was praise our great city and team. He found a niche to be successful, can't blame him for that. But, he did marry a republican, so there's hope.

Yeah he found out quickly that drug dealing and being a bookie didn't pay his bills.

I not aligned with Carville, politically, but I think he's one cool dude and I love it when he gets all riled up. Nothing is better than his speech on blowing up the Rose Bowl. I can't tell you how many times I've watched that and listened to him. He is 100% Louisiana and he's brutal in his defense of all things Louisiana.

If he lives in NOLA and eats at Houston's something is wrong with him.
I know so many people who say that is their favorite resturant.
Overpriced limited menu and chilis quality food.

Anyway Carvilles a good guy.

Exactly...because hypocrite republicans are a lot better than hypocrite democrats.

American political discourse has become so polarized

I wonder if books with titles like We're right, they're wrong have anything to do with that?

I like Carville even though I disagree with him on most issues, he's a character, he loves La and I bet he'd be great to throw down a few beers with, but he ain't no "centrist". He's as partisan as it gets.
