If I were benched after having a good (not great) season with 2 games left and my team still in the hunt for a playoff spot?
I'd probably step away too. They are losing games cause their defense chokes away leads at a record pace . The Raiders are clearly signalling that they intend to let him go to not have to pay him his guaranteed clause.

Carr sucks and Raiders fans hate him. I've watched several Raiders games the past several seasons and that guy is absolute cheeks.
I couldn't even come up with an excuse for how a QB got worse with the addition of Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs having a career year. It's Carr and McDaniels. They're terrible individually and more terrible together.

He's definitely not going to play so he doesn't need to be there to know the gameplan or practice. He's not going to be there next year. Basically all he needs to do is clean out his locker.
