I think we’d all agree our playcalling is far too predictable right now. If Greg Olsen can predict our plays during the broadcast, you can bet your arse that the Defense can as well.
If Carmichael doesn’t improve over the course of the next few weeks, what are your thoughts on giving Passing Game Coordinator Ronald Curry a chance? Curry is well respected around the league and is expected to get OC interviews this off-season.

Playcalling isn’t anymore predictable than most OC throughout the league. Sometimes you just can’t fumble in the red zone and throw for 18 interceptions. Winston was obviously too hurt to play.

It seems they really dont trust Winston to execute. Everything seems so vanilla.

I mean, we took the appropriate shots that were there all game, and were in the process of putting them away with the run game until the Ingram fumble. Not a 40 burger offense, but we were doing what we needed to do.
I would say we have got to be the only team that does not scheme early to get our best receiver (MT13) the ball. Watch Kupp or Adams play and they usually have a quick and easy couple of catches to start the game out.

Same here. Its not like JW doesn't know the playbook in year three.
You can't see the damn pass patterns on TV. Anyone at game see our WR's running open or covered up?

Our WRs looked open. Jameis missed a wide open Olave 3 times yesterday for big gains. Two were overthrows, one was a throw that should have been on the hash but was inside and resulted in an interception in the red zone. Then when he finally hits him in the fourth quarter, Olave stumbles and fumbles the ball.

Those passes needed to be on the money to be completed. Jameis wasn't going to make that throw. The last catch by Olave should have been in stride and likely a TD. But instead it's a stumble that turns into a fumble.

When will everybody learn that if you don`t have a
consistant QB it doesn`t matter who the OC is.JW was
putrid ywsterday.Maybe because of his back. NFL coaches
just don`t change QBs during games,maybe they should.

Bruh, the play calling was fine. Winston was missing dudes by 10yds yesterday.

I saw the deep ball that should've been a TD but instead was an INT clear as day on my teli, and I fussed out as he threw it "too late it's getting picked." My son asked how I knew that. I explained he waited way too long to throw that ball, so it gave the DB time to get into position and risked underthrowing. Replay showed precisely that. He needed to throw the ball at the break, but instead he waited to see if the WR broke open before throwing. He was a good second late on that.
I think Winston is playing with little confidence right now, and as a result he's holding on to the ball too long. You see it in the pocket, and you see it with his targets. He's playing scared. His INTS in the past were more due to carelessness and overconfidence, but it appears it's the opposite right now.
Just my observation though, so I certainly could be completely wrong.

The only thing I will add to this is that Brees is not here and unfortunately Kamara didn't play.
1) It looked like the Brees offense with a ton of 3 and 4 yard passes on 2nd and 10. We were constantly in 3rd and 6, which means that Winston then has to come back on 3rd down and make another throw. This was fine with Drew because 75% of the time he knew where he was going with the ball. Winston takes two long to decide.
2) Kamara being out took away a lot of the 2-3 yard checkdowns that Kamara can take further.

This is true. Olave pulled up a few times. Not all of the bad pass plays were on Winston. And as bad as he played overall yesterday, he did have some great passes mixed in.
The truth about JW is that he is a highly talented player who is just too erratic. He is who he is, and I don't see him changing that. I think the absolute love on here along with the absolute hate are both unfounded. He's somewhere in between. He's not the answer, but he will have some amazing games that will be memorable. They have no choice but to ride with him at the moment, because he's their starter. Dalton is not that good either, so the Red Rocket cries should cease. He's an average player.

Hard to tell when the execution by the quarterback may be faulty. When the main cog in the machine doesn't work correctly the whole machine fails.

Take a step back. Quality offensive minds are scooped up immediately. The guy is fairly young. Nobody has wanted him...even as a coordinator.
This was by far the biggest mistake Allen made.
