2012 Buccaneers = 2011 Eagles

High profile offseason additions with terrible coaching.

He had a nice stint here but it will all go down hill now that he got his payday

At least I hope so.

Thanks for all of you've done in in New Orleans Carl

That's a shitload of a guaranteed money...

His contract itself isn't all that beefy, when you consider Evans. The fact over 30 mil is guaranteed is ridiculous. No wonder he went that way. I hope that bad attitude hits them in the locker room and they're stuck with him...

cant be mad at him for takin the money just like i wont be mad at brees when the saints cheapo asses lose him, we always over pay for the players who aint worth a shite(grant, will smith) and the ones we really need we try and cheapskate them into a new contract, i have a feeling this brees contract is going to get ugly and i dont blame him one bit

If he wants to play for a division rival, a losing team, a college coach that won't last more than 3 years max, and a below average QB, then go for it!

I'd probably play for that kind of money too.

Nicks is slowly becoming enemy #1 of saints and saints fans.....IMO.

per Triplett on Twitter:

Carl Nicks says the Saints were "a pass 1st team -- and 2nd and 3rd". Feels he'll be able to excel in Tampa Bay's power running game

He's pretty much right, but I don't care, and that doesn't offend me. Thanks Carl for the memories, but you are replaceable.

This is news to me.

Do O-lineman have a preference on pass or run blocking? Or is it a preference? I guess you attack more in the run game, so that might be more desirable

Prefer running from what I understand.

IIRC The scouting report on Nicks out of college was that he was a better run blocker than pass blocker(and that he had a drinking problem or something)

So not surprised for him to say that and if any Saints fan gets upset for him saying we were a pass first, second etc team then try actually watching a Saints game instead of being a bandwagon fan
