I am with you. That was just a pointless article. She could have at least commented how questionable most of the PI calls were, but she basically just spent a few hundred words telling us both teams were called for penalties in the game.

Hack writer pushing an NFL narrative that both teams benefited from perceptively questionable pass interference calls.

The typical nothing to see here and move on PR bullshite.

Definitely could have been more clear, but the point was that all four PI penalties aided drives that resulted in a score for the Bucs.

I get the point, but it’s shite journalism. It leaves the reader waiting for the answer. The answer should have been in the first paragraph and following paragraphs should support her thesis.

Hopefully I'm not the only one to think this, but when I watch other teams play, I see defensive backs make plays and think after "that would have been PI on us." I'm not a conspiracy guy, nor do I think that ultimately there's some bias involved, but man. I really feel like our guys have to play up to impossible expectations in coverage to be effective without giving up PI's.

For example, as a DB you're taught at 5 years old to have your trailing arm "around" the WR, and reach out your leading arm to defend any crossing route (slant, dig, drag, etc). I see that called as PI at an alarming rate.
