Can Morestead kick field goals?

After watching the Seattle - Dallas game the other night, and seeing Janikowski get injured right before half time, i got to thinking, what would happen if Lutz got hurt. Could Morestead kick a couple of extra points or even some short field goals in a pinch if we needed him to? I know he kicked them in college but is that something he practices? Also does Lutz practice punting?

I saw Taysom Hill consitently hitting 72 yarders in warmups. We're fine.

Will Lutz isn't a South Florida kicker like Parkey or Blair Walsh so don't worry about this.

I said that when watching the Dallas game. CSP will have Morestead kicking and Taysom holding all week just in case

I like Tayson holding because it makes a fake much easier to pull off. He could easily throw or run it if the formation is right.

If something were to happen with Lutz i'd imagine we just went for 2's and went fornit on 4th downs. Sean seems to want to do that alot anyway.

In that type of situation, yes. Morestead kicked off for years.

I've asked him before. He said he could, but that you don't want him to.

yes, pretty sure he has done it for us before once or twice but his accuracy range is very short like 30 yard max
unless it was a different punter we had. i know our punter did kick a field goal or two when the kicker was hurt
