What the hell is up with the revisionist history of Tom Benson. He was a huge NFL shill and did nothing to stand up to Goddell. Tagliabue Said he couldn’t move to San Antonio so he didn’t. Goodell hit him with the Bountygate nonsense and he did nothing. He was about himself and his money. Old Man Benson stood up to the NFL when they were looking to hire Finks as commissioner. The process was dragging out and he told them to shite or get off the pot. NFL passed and we kept our HOF GM a little longer.

This is why I didn't think they would ever enforce penalties for faking injuries. How can they determine true injuries or not. I know some seem obvious, but still.

If you ever wanted proof that the NFL does not make any effort to look into issues before firing off fines here it is. A single phone call to inquire about the injury would have ended this entire thing.
