Cam has been the ultimate Saint and he should have a statue outside of the Dome when his career is finally done. He will surely go into broadcasting once his playing days are over and he will be an advocate for us for years to come.

Cam is the type of guy you keep a Saint his entire career. He’s been loyal, taken below what his market value was in his prime to help the team and is never negative no matter how shitty things are. I can see him gladly taking some form of pay cut to stay in New Orleans. He just wants to hit that sack number so he can possibly be in the Hall of Fame one day. We could do much worse as a backup DE than Cam at the end of his career.

You can either want to operate like a real team and cut bait when it’s time on guys like Cam or Kamara, or it can really mean something to you as a fan that these guys remain saints for life. Just don’t bitch about our situation if you aren’t comfortable putting team first and getting rid of these guys when it’s time
