i wonder how low he'll let his base salary reduction get to before pride and anger kicks in.

Yeah I think if he's openly acknowledging this, it does make me wonder if he is in fact willing to take a pay cut

he included Foskey in a separate follow up tweet

that's cool. we aren't hurting for numbers (assuming cam ain't june 1 cut). can maybe just add a splash edge guy on DL. would be nice if foskey excelled in the stand up type role.

There seems to be this thing where you're not allowed to say anything bad about Cam. I've wanted him gone for TWO freaking years. I'm done with him.

We couldn't have traded cam to Buffalo? For like a 6th or 7th? Or cash?

Is a trade for cash allowed in NFL?
Also, if Cam is so bad and we need to get rid of him, why would another team want to trade for him. Especially if that means paying $12.5M for a backup/role player

To be fair to Cam, I do feel like he and Chase Young play basically different positions in this D. Cam would have his hand in the dirt whereas Chase will be a lot of standup Pass Rush

He won’t let it go a dollar lower until the Saints are capable of eating his dead money.

That graphic tells me we need a DT, LB, CB, and safety in the draft.
Cam/Demario/Tyran dont have much left in the tank. DE will be a need in the draft the year after this.

And Fosky is just a younger version of old Cam at this point. No explosion or speed. Maybe he can learn some technique and hold the point of attack.

We need to keep building the D line. Cam is a shell but he’s a culture guy
