We played awesome in our last two games.

I think this two game span was the only part of the season where Carr was 100 percent, save for the first portion of the season before the injury he suffered against the Pack.

I think we will have a good season next year. Good, but not great.

Him, Kamara and others all on twitter speaking their mind. Just shows how much they don’t GAF about Dennis Allen.

It says a lot when a team leader like Cam comes out and says this.

I really hope Jameis and Cam played their last games in Saints uniforms yesterday

Honestly, the play is being way overblown, but it was a cowardly play by the players involved.

1. They lined up in victory formation then ran the ball.
2. If you going to be Men, tell the defense you going to run a play instead of being cowardly about it.
3. Then the offense celebrating as though they scored a winning TD.

I would be embarrassed about the TD if I were Williams based on how it was obtained.

What do you think happens if they do not line up in victory? The dumbass of a head coach would have called timeout and send someone else in, like his buddy Carr, to kneel it.

What this tells you is that our problems are much bigger than a coach… we have regressed to the kind of corrosive culture that kept this team from breaking out before Payton and Brees came along. They have to make a statement here by firing Dennis or this is going to affect this team’s fortunes for a long time.

Lol what is DA going to do? Get rid of all of them lol??

He should have supported his players and gave JW a carry at the 1. But no, instead he chose to honor some outdated mindset that say we "need" to take knee.

Play the game, let the defense stop you.

In a normal circumstance, sure take a knee. But he should have favored his guys over appeasing the suck arse falcons.

In fact if he would have just called a play for JW, none of this would have happended. Scoring from the 1 yard line isn't a "no-no". Scoring from the victory formation is

Did our talent mixed with our schedule achieve expected results? No

100% agree. If Mickey wants to fire him based on not making playoffs then that's fine, but this last play shouldn't have shite to do with it.
quote:

Was there some drastic unforseen event with the roster that changed results...no. Winston is one of the highest paid backups for a reason as is Hill as is the rookie you spent a 4th rounder on

Fair points at QB, but Ramzyck, Taysom, MT13, Olave, Kendre, LG/LT all had injuries missing time.
quote:

Did the team get better over time? No it was consistently underprepared and never took advantage of mismatches

I would agree with you through the Falcons 1st game. After that beginning with Detroit even losing we played decent and ended 4-2 over the last 6 games so there was some improvement. Yes Panthers & Giants sucked we should have beat them but we lost other games beginning of the year we should have won too.
quote:

Did the team do halftime adjustments...no they are overrated

We were actually good at in game adjustments. Now pregame preparation on the other hand was bad which led to slow starts most of the season
quote:

Everything you want to use to pat him on the back can and will be used against him...we had a decent offense...but we sucked in the RZ...maybe that's on Carr and his history...maybe that's on Pete not playing his best RZ weapons when we got down there...I don't care the excuse it falls on DA. Better RZ awareness in just 1 more game we win division...

100% agree
quote:

Couple that with the culture he was in charge of protecting and the players expressing outrage via media before this mostly MT13...but now Ruiz and Cam 2 of our best leaders

MT13 was same way with Payton, but he's now likely gone. Ruiz/Cam/Jamies all admitted they went against Allen's call but nobody actually said anything negative about him, basically they chose the "ask for forgiveness / IDGAF" approach
quote:

Then add in my personal reason of him being a smug asswipe after beating 1 or 3 win teams during a presser to snap a 2 or 3 game skid against sub 500s especially getting throttled by this same shitty team we beat today after a bye week

100% agree

Shannon Sharpe said he would immediately cut Winston and that he is a loser!
