Not sure why that seems so terrible. We aren't winning a championship in the next 2 years so we would be stupid not trade AK/ Taysom and develop future assets. We would also be stupid to pay Olave 30+ mil. I posted this before Hendrickson got a 1 year deal and the benefits of having him on the D Line would outweigh the benefits of not having him and keeping Ruiz with minimum impact on the O Line. Our defense would have very few holes at that point and would only need minimum adjustments.

This is where fans with attachment issues hold on to usueless players (in this scenario a useless situation) only because they have fond memories of the past instead of prioritizing the future benefits of the moves.

Getting Ruiz/ AK/ Taysom off the roster would almost pay for the Hendrickson contract and we would essentially "save" another 30mil by not paying Olave.

The only lol would be if you don't think we could get 2nds and Trey with those packages and that's understandable.
